Peter is a rightous man - if your case is not good, he will honestly give you your best options. If your case is winnable, he is your best advocate. Judges know and respect him. Prosecutors become uneasy with him, as he is truly a lion in the courtroom. His filings are detailed, loaded with current and applicable citations. 2) He hates to lose. He will demand that you do your homework and come your memory for details that will help the case. He will make you work and will challenge statements that cannot be proven. He will insist that you double check your recollections so that everything he files or says in court in consistent and strong. His reputation is on the line with every case. 3) He is detailed. He saw the no-contest clause written into the trust used by my mom's lawyer to protect himself from the court discovering his fraud. Daye called him and conspired with him to continue the fraud, protect the lawyer, and email my sister to my knowledge. He said nothing about the no-contest clause before signing the contract because I provided him with evidence of probable cause so the court could do discovery, risking me nothing. He said he would petition the court for discovery on Mom's bank accounts in the contingency fee agreement. It did not provide me the client's rights or give me time to consider what I was signing. I told him I would not hire him unless he could use my evidence to challenge my sister. The Trust terms said the assets were to be shared evenly, and I could petition the court with a service myself! I signed. I was in extreme mental anguish! Mom wanted to go home to die in her bed. My sister told her " NO " she was renting out her house! Mom died homeless and penniless on Christmas day. Daye argues for discovery on mom's bank accounts. He petitioned in the wrong court and withheld all of Mom's evidence to challenge sister and blamed the judge! As suspicion grows, I ask for the file and discover... He asks for my objections in current accounting, sneaks off to court, and agrees to the accounting. Did not ask the court about my request for heirlooms. I asked to hire a forensic accountant out of my pocket, and he has to drop the bomb! There is a no-contest clause, and if you challenge your sister, you can lose everything " I did not think you would want to do that "?? He is now holding all the settlement money, so I cannot pay 5k for fee mediation. I had the money to pay a petition service. I can pay for the arbitration. Tony checked with the attorney and said September 3rd. I said great I'll have the court change the date based on your attorney's availability, Tony said ok just send us the new court documents showing the new court date. When I sent them the court document, all of the sudden the attorney had a personal issue come up and now is not available. I'm marrying an attorney, so understand their crazy schedules and also understand that issues can arise, what I don't understand or think is ok is an absolute lack of communication from Tony regarding the attorneys availability when the issue did arise. He could of and should hav reached out to us and told us the attorney was no longer available on the date he had chosen! We used their dates to schedule the hearing, the least they could have done is let me know the attorney was no longer available. Now I'm stuck with a court date we didn't select and have to start over trying to find another attorney. Thanks Ticket Crushers! Oh just found out, it was just economics, they scored an all day DUI case on the same day they said they'd be available for us, so we got bumped!
