Vet Med was unavailable so I decided to try Dr. Locke. I'm glad I did. I may change from Vet Med to here. The lady that answered the phone was extremely polite and you could just hear her smile over the phone. My wait time for the appointment was rather short. Dr. Locke was patient and very thorough in the exam. He, like me, saw no visible reason for the skin issue. He ruled out everything possible, no fleas, mites, allergies. He decided on a medicated shampoo and a medicinal treatment regimen for six weeks. The initial office visit is $40.00, which is lower than the others I've dealt with over the years. I have no qualms about returning here, if the need should ever arise. *****3 days after my visit the office called to check up on the cat. This has never happened through any other vet.

When we went inside, he'd go to the two ladies behind the counter, Melissa and Ann at the time, to get petted. Then he'd stand with his nose to the inner door, waiting for them to come get him! Luckily, he was just as happy when it was time to go home, or I'd have had a complex. They are very professional, efficient, caring people. When Buddy developed cancer and ultimately had to be put to sleep, the ladies up front cried, my family and I cried, and even the doctor that I had never met before cried. I was asking about payment plans etc as I'm just a single person trying to do this on my own and they became outraged and completely unprofessional!!!!!! Asked me why I had a dog if I wasn't educated (which I am! They just assumed) I went to call around other vets to see if anyone accepted vet care because the dog needed to be hospitalized and after shaming me that he hadn't been vaccinated (which I just explained was about to happen) the actual Vet with complete unprofessionalism and rudeness says "Are we going to do this or not? I don't have all day!" Then proceeded to tell me I might as well sit down if I'm going to take all day figuring it out! I don't recommend this place ever to anyone, if they treat their customers this way then how do they treat your fur babies???? Run far far far away from this place.
