Vegetables are generally pretty fresh which is also a positive. The steak is flavorsome however seasoning and sauces on some dishes can sometimes be a bit bland for my taste. The store is well positioned in the heart of McLaren Vale by the caravan park and is good for a quick dinner. Meals are $11 to $16. Personal favorites from the menu are Pork ribs in plum sauce, sizzling pepper chicken, satay chicken and lemon chicken. Rice is sold separately for $3 and is generally nice fluffy. No frills good value Chinese food…read more A suburban institution, Ginling has kept Inner Southern burbs dwellers (and visitors) happy with a range of yummy dishes for decades. My (Chinese Malay) aunt insists on eating here when she visits Adelaide. Customer service is hit and miss but easily overlooked! My faves - Peking duck, chilli chicken and the roast duck. I also firmly believe their deep fried ice cream is THE best I've ever had! Has never disappointed me and I'm a loyal patron.
