Yesterday, I went in for a toothache, and Dr. Dellisanti found the issue right away. She was even able to perform a root canal that same afternoon! What amazed me most was how fast and efficient everything was. Thanks to their modern technology (and her expertise), the entire procedure--including making the crown--took only about 1.5 hours. They also scan your teeth before and after to ensure the crown matches perfectly, which was especially important for fitting my retainer. That level of attention to detail is impressive. I also love my hygienist, Nina. She's very precise and always so friendly. My whole family goes here, and we couldn't be happier. I know most people don't enjoy going to the dentist, but this place truly makes it a pleasant experience--I don't even mind going! Highly recommend.

With just one look and a thorough, thoughtful consultation, she solved a problem that had persisted through four visits at my previous dentist's office- where they ultimately recommended general anesthesia. Dr. Alice handled it with clarity, confidence, and compassion. The entire team is incredibly understanding and patient, especially with someone like me who struggles with fear around dental care. I never feel rushed, dismissed, or judged. After my last appointment, the relief was so overwhelming that I actually cried. That alone says everything. If you are anxious about the dentist or have had complicated or frustrating experiences in the past, this is the place to go. Dr. Alice and her team are exceptional.

The staff are great and very friendly which helped put my nerves a bit at ease from the beginning. Now for the care. I have come here a few times - one for a broken tooth and got such great care, judgement free, and Dr Bekah was there being the biggest cheerleader as she was providing me the care. Got a sweet gold tooth out of it too! I have come back again for a deep cleaning as well as a wisdom tooth extraction. I was TERRIFIED of getting it done but Dr Bekah took such great care of me, letting me know of everything that was going on and always showering me with positivity as she was doing the extraction (the kind of stuff I need.) It's important to be honest with your dentist so you can get the most out of it and her office provides the best care in a judgement free zone. Dr Bekah made me laugh and smile the whole time I was getting my extraction done and it did not hurt at all. I am confident I have a great dental care plan from the years that I've put it off and I actually look forward to going here now. Thank you Dr Bekah for saving my smile and for giving a reason to smile more.

The office opened at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, but I did not receive a response until 12:28 PM, just two minutes before my 12:30 PM appointment. I had already driven to the office and arrived for my scheduled appointment, only to be told they had given my appointment time to someone else. I still kept my second appointment scheduled up until the day of the appointment. However, after what had happened with the first appointment, I no longer felt comfortable continuing care with this office, so I canceled. I was then charged a cancellation fee, which felt like a double standard considering my own appointment had been given away after I showed up. Time is time. I lost time money and still don't have a dental work done.

I just received a call from Chae Endodontics today claiming that I owed them money from a procedure…read more2 years ago. While this should have been a simple interaction the lady I spoke with was Extremely unprofessional, right from the get go. She couldn't tell me any of the steps they had taken to process the bill through my insurance or FSA account, stating that she didn't know because she didn't work there in 2019. I'd assume the business would keep records of those things, but she insisted she didn't know because she didn't work there then. I thought that was a strange response, but when I continued to ask for more information in an attempt to verify what had, or hadn't, been done she informed me she was just going to run the card she had on file for me. I'd like to be clear. She wouldn't tell me if they had billed my insurance. She wouldn't tell me if my FSA had paid anything. Instead of answering any of my questions she told me she was going to bill whatever card or mine they had on file. It's bizarre to go 2 years with no contact to be out of the blue informed I owe them over $1000. They've sent no bills or statements, no letters informing me I have a past due account. Nothing. And somehow I'm supposed to just pay a nameless person over the phone who cannot tell me anything more than a random dollar amount? Obviously I would like to resolve this, so I asked for her name as I hadn't caught it at the beginning of the call. She REFUSED TO TELL ME. Quite literally said "I told you once, I'm not telling you again." It's a simple enough question, why not identify yourself? After asking two more times for her name, and being told "I'm not telling you" she hung up on me. I called back but nobody answered the phone. Caller ID Identified the business correctly and the number matched the number online. I wish I would have recorded the call. It's the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced from a medical provider. Be careful choosing Chae Endodontics. Dr Chae himself, is a wonderful endodontist, but if his staff behaves this way it is only because he allows it. There are plenty of other endodontists in the Seattle area that will treat you with dignity and respect. You deserve better than Chae.

Dr. Chae's office is immaculate. While most of the office is painted white or a light color all…read morethe equipment is impressively white and sparkling clean. What could be better than sparkling clean? Beautiful organization and a smiling helpful staff. Brittney greeted me and ensured that all my data and history was correct. After a short wait I was introduced to Pam who is Dr. Chae's knowledgeable and caring assistant. Clearly she had an extensive oral education. Pam helped locate the pain and then took x-rays of the area. She's a real sweetheart and most calming. I met Dr. Chae when my x-rays were complete and ready for examination near my mouth. Dr. Chae is surprisingly tall and attractive. Like his office he is well kempt with attention to detail. Maybe Dr. Chae isn't aware of his surprisingly beautiful speaking voice that would catch almost anybody's ear within a few syllables. Like an opera or theater voice with a soft volume that's pleasingly modulated. His explanation was methodical and detailed. The doctor went on to explain a most interesting procedure. He was going to do a root canal and repair the tooth from the inside out! I thought he'd have to remove the crown and I wouldn't be able to eat properly for a long time till I could afford to get that fixed. Dr. Chae went on to explain how he was going to drill through the center of the artificial crown do the root canal, remove the decay then fill in the newly hollowed spaces with special cements. He believed this would leave my mouth in fit fashion, pronto. The crown will need replacement within the year if not 6 months. So after his generous time answering all my anxious ignorant questions the procedure begins with the area around being numbed with an anesthetic that he wipes on with a cotton swab. Within 2 minutes the gum area is numb and ready for an injection of some kind of painkiller like Novocain. I always rated Dr. on how they give a needle. Is it painless or painful? I required a few pokes that weren't all painless, but the doctor and his assistant both work as a team to minimize the pain. Both the doctor and Pam were able to create subtle but strong distractions that minimized my attention to that discomfort. Dr. Chae turns out to be an excellent oral anesthesiologist, more later. So now that I'm adequately numb, my mouth is wedged open and a rubber dam is placed around the tooth to be worked on. It's a flat sheet of rubber that you push the tooth through. Thereby the tooth is isolated from the rest of your mouth in a mini operating theater. The dam is also most sanitary and keeps old lead filling materials from being swallowed. Now numbed up and dammed up I was ready for my procedure. Everybody in this office has a soft touch as did the doctor. I felt surprisingly good during the whole procedure the minimal amount of discomfort I felt was nothing compared to the pain I was hoping would go away forever. I didn't put in the usual headphones because I love listening to the doctor carry-on a most thought-provoking dialogue about the politics of the day. Well mostly a monologue as you might imagine. I was not at all good at ventriloquism or carrying on any conversation as you can see from my position. Dr. Chae is creative and detailed I love looking up while he would work on my tooth looking through a specially illuminated microscope. He was doing extremely delicate work in an extremely tiny place. Before I left the office I learned that he was the sculptor who made the metal beautifully smooth at each contact point. I truly believe the same artistry I witnessed on a pedestal is the same artistry and detail that went into my tiny little tooth. He has a co-practice and shares an office with another Dr. Chae? The other Dr. Chae is an orthodontist and she is the artist of all the paintings hanging in the office. When I met Dr., Mrs. Chae she was wearing the most beautiful lab jacket I have ever seen, it all seemed to go with her painting in the office. It seems truly unique that two oral specialists not only live and work together but each practices a type of art that actually complements their work life. I waited 10 days to write this because I wanted to feel the way my mouth healed and the way the pain evolved and subsided. My mouth of course was numb for hours after I left the office. My jaw ached from being open so long and the bone and gums around the area were sore and somewhat delicate. Within 24 hours I was eating soft things with no discomfort within 4 days my problems are mostly psychiatric. The pain had been so intense and routine, that although gone I would anticipate sharp pain with a cold drink and flinch in anticipation of habitual pain that was no longer there. It took me over a week to get rid of the anticipation of the pain. Although this procedure cost me over a thousand dollars, I thank my lucky stars that the science and a local specialist, empathetic expert is available.
