I ordered a Valentines bouquet of mixed balloons (a couple of smaller bouquets combined with a few single balloons added in) and was thrilled with the delivery. The balloons were bright and vivid, just as pictured, and they did a great job of mixing into one large bouquet as requested. Moreover, I found out the recipient would be traveling that week and called to see if I could have delivered earlier than initially requested (which was the very next day) and they made it happen! Balloon Kings was one of 3 places I reached out to for quotes when looking for bridal shower decorations. I originally thought of doing a garland but those can be pricey and opted for a couple of arrangements. Gene was super helpful when i submitted an inquiry via their contact page online, and answered all my questions via email. I ended up doing 2 similar arrangements to one that I saw on their Instagram page but added a few more balloons. It was pretty easy to place the order online. My only complaint was b/c I was ordering 2 arrangements with the same balloons in each I had to manually calculate and make sure I added the right quantity for each arrangement. There's a section when you check out to provide directions. I told them which balloons in each arrangement and to make it pretty - which they did! I was coming in from out of town for the bridal shower so needed the balloons to be delivered, which we had no issues with. Overall, balloons are not cheap but they did an awesome job, exceeded expectations, provided great customer service and I would highly recommend them/use Balloon Kings again the the future! read more

I'm so disappointed in this service. The balloons ultimately were beautiful (which is why the 3 stars), but the execution of service was not. More than once I spoke with a representative on the phone before delivery to ensure that it was clear where the balloons were to be delivered (inside Central Park) and was assured the destination was clear. On the day - the delivery was over 30 minutes late, the delivery person was clearly not using any kind of GPS device and/or was not given effective directions by the company and was defensive when we attempted to give directions by phone (my husband whose party it was had to go track him down at least a 1/2 mile off course) ; the customer service rep on the phone was rude when we called to ask about the delivery lateness and the balloons arrived without anchors as ordered which made it difficult to tether inside a park. We understand we are in the time of COVID and exceptions need to be made but as a Business if you're not able to deliver a service then don't say you can. Communicate clearly, kindly and honestly which will make it easier for all of us to make it through these times. Poor Quality and Service! All twenty four helium balloons on the floor after 10hours. The first time I ordered balloons they lasted a week which is why I planned my Mother's day morning around this birthday balloon pick up. I called to find out why this happened and they said I did not ask for hi-flow. If the person taking the order, William, had told me about it then I would have definitely ordered it because I specifically came here for long lasting balloons. I could have gone to Party City which is close by for a fraction of the price but I came here for better quality and service. William never asked me if I wanted my balloons to last longer. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak to the manager, Asia, she bold face lied and said she heard him ask me if I wanted my balloons to last longer. I explained how I specifically went to Balloon King and spent $111 for 25 balloons because I needed them to last a week and if William told me about this add on I definitely would have paid for it. He 100 percent did not ask me about hi-flow or extending my balloons. He just took my quantity and colors. This store and location does not want to do anything to make this right or bring back a customer. My son woke up to birthday balloons on the floor. Balloon Kings has became my go-to store when I need a very reliable service to prepare for last minute surprises. Yes it isn't exactly the cheapest option you can find in-town. But the quality and reliability is unbeatable, I'd rather pay the price and save headaches. I've ordered from Balloon Kings a few times by now. All a-day-before orders, all arrived on-time or earlier than my scheduled time. Tiffany even took the extra step and texted me to let me know to whom she left the delivery with at my front desk, that way if anything isn't right I could track down the source. Their high float latex balloons stayed afloat in my apartment for a month. While you'd be lucky if the usual ones from elsewhere can stay afloat for more than three days. The gigantic foil ones stayed up for a good two weeks without problems as well. Balloon Kings knows what they're doing and they do it well. read more

Be careful with this business. The reviews do not always fit the services. In my case the services were horrible!!! I ordered 8 (3 ft each) small bouquets and 2 large (9 feet each) and the large ones were never delivered. Although I had stated the large ones were for a very special session at the event and the Balloon Kings rep said the balloons had to be delivered no later than 4:30 PM so the driver could get back to the office and leave the truck. We adjusted our schedule to meet their time. THEY NEVER DELIVERED THE LARGE BOUQUET OF BALLOONS#?!! AND their first response was they had delivered them but when I stated we were all waiting and called over and over without a response, they changed their story. I would never order from them again and suggest that you be very careful as your event could be destroyed as well. read more

A 7ft garland and tree of 10 balloons were scheduled to be delivered at 11:00am for my daughter's first birthday. The balloons arrived at 12:15pm, when guests were arriving/already there and I raced to hang a large garland of balloons. In addition, the color of the balloon in the tree was incorrect. Around 11:15. I called Balloon Kings to see what the status was and was told the balloons were in transit. At 11:45, I called again and they argued that I was wrong and if I had an issue to email them my contract. When they finally arrived, I realized that that they had gone off of an old contract. What's really disappointing is that they assumed I was wrong and and didn't even bother look into it for me. I was hosting an important sentimental event and the last thing I wanted to be dealing with is emailing the company a contract, which they should have had in front of them to begin with. If they had simply offered to quickly look back at our notes, they would have seen that the contract had been updated to include a different drop off time and balloon color. This created unnecessary stress on a very important day. I am so disappointed with how the situation was handled. I went with this company expecting the best and it certainly wasn't that for me. read more

Don't rely on them for deliveries outside of their regular window. There is no number to reach them after hours and they were unresponsive via email. Could not have been a more miserable experience. We love balloons, and Balloon-Kings has become a tradition for all of our birthdays. The last three orders, however, have been extremely difficult for us to place, culminating with today's effort. They refused to take our order on the phone, referring us instead to a website we have had a great deal of difficulty using. My husband got stuck and called for help with the website, was put on hold and not gotten back to. Called back, was told she'd call him by the end of the day. He was worried that would be too late, so he tried to finish up the order on the website and made a mistake. I called to try to get that fixed, but no one answered; left a message, but no one called me back. So I got on the subway and went to the store in person, and the woman working there looked up at me and said, "We're not taking walk-ins today!" Balloons are supposed to be fun and make you smile. A sad ending to a 10 year working relationship with Balloon Kings. A weird interaction and energy when they came to the door, the delivery person was acting strange and did not even have a pen. We had the balloons for the big day, and the next day they started to fall, 6 of the 12 balloons we received were on the floor despite the fact that I paid for high float to go in each and every balloon. When I called to speak to someone about these issues, I was told I would receive a call back. After a week of not hearing back I had to call to speak to someone again. My feedback and issues fell to the ground much like the balloons that were delivered. The manager Star doesn't know what she's doing and who knows if she actually relayed the message to Gene. If she did, this is not how Gene has treated me in the past. Why would we be going through all of this and make up that the balloons fell? We're not hurting for money and don't need the $100 back, it's the principle of how returning customers should be treated. That's why I asked for a refund. The staff at Balloon Kings is usually extremely accommodating and friendly. I'd spoken to Gene directly in the past and he even offered to take me out for drinks. But receiving this delivery of balloons I got just the opposite. read more
