A sad ending to a 10 year working relationship with Balloon Kings. A weird interaction and energy when they came to the door, the delivery person was acting strange and did not even have a pen. We had the balloons for the big day, and the next day they started to fall, 6 of the 12 balloons we received were on the floor despite the fact that I paid for high float to go in each and every balloon. When I called to speak to someone about these issues, I was told I would receive a call back. After a week of not hearing back I had to call to speak to someone again. My feedback and issues fell to the ground much like the balloons that were delivered. The manager Star doesn't know what she's doing and who knows if she actually relayed the message to Gene. If she did, this is not how Gene has treated me in the past. Why would we be going through all of this and make up that the balloons fell? We're not hurting for money and don't need the $100 back, it's the principle of how returning customers should be treated. That's why I asked for a refund. The staff at Balloon Kings is usually extremely accommodating and friendly. I'd spoken to Gene directly in the past and he even offered to take me out for drinks. But receiving this delivery of balloons I got just the opposite. read more

We ordered balloons a day before our son's 40th birthday . We gave our credit card number and we thought it was done. After it was suppose to be delivered we did not hear from our son and called THE balloon place to make sure they delivered it . THEY DID NOT . They said the credit card was a swipe only card and could not get the card through for payment . This is news to us since we order food and a variety of other things via the internet and phone. They did not call us about not delivering the balloons.!! We found another balloon place in manhattan who called to tell us the balloons were on their way and when delivered. We received a bouquet of "Get Well Soon" balloons when my 1 year old had surgery. Four weeks later and the balloons are still inflated and brightening my son's day. If you are questioning whether to give the gift of balloons to a child - please do not. I could have never anticipated the joy that my child experiences when he sees his balloons. Balloons were exactly as ordered, no complaints but I did have to call twice because delivery was very late and my guests were due to arrive. From the sound of it I believe they forgot and when I called they scrambled to get the truck out. They blamed traffic but they were only going crosstown on a Saturday morning. read more

I've used them several times - always friendly, easy to work with and professional. When I told them I needed the latex balloons to last for 2 days, they suggested a gel at 50 cents per balloon - no joke, it's over three weeks later and most of them still are up!
