I called to price balloons for an event I was hosting and set up a date for delivery. I found out that there was a conflict with the date and they could not deliver. So, instead of just saying," I am sorry we are fully booked for that day." The person on the phone got extremely sarcastic and said, "I guess I could cancel ALL of my other deliveries to cater to you." I responded, "Why would you do that? and I didn't ask you to- Goodbye." I love that the employees are very creative and often have wonderful ideas if you know what you'd like for a theme. I drive from Philly to get my balloons here. I was picking up a piece of glass from the store down the street when I spotted Balloon Tycoon. It's my husband's birthday today, so I decided to stop in and pick up some stuff for him. I walked in and was instantly overwhelmed with the sensory stimulation. There was ... a LOT of stuff. Thankfully Danielle was there to help me! I told her I wanted something "ridiculous" and she immediately referred me to a balloon that's a piece of toast and it's wearing a hat and has a tail. It was perfect. I have never been to the store but I'll be back. The store has everything you could possibly need for an event or party. Super overpriced and poor quality.Forgot my wallet so i couldnt get my party decorations from walmart. Went here because it was a surprise party and we were running outta time. For balloons (a 6 pack), some bazookas, streamers, and a box of lights it was 60 dollars. Ridiculous. Got rid or the lights (barely any in the box at that) Still 30 dollars for balloons that all popped with barely any air in them at the slightest touch and they were supposed to have confetti in them but they put the confetti at the very bottom of the bag so that sucked too. Bazookas didnt make noise and broke fast. Streamers were the only thing that were fine. Also owner talked over me and was overall just annoying. read more

Completely unsatisfied and disappointed with how my gift turned out. the price they had on facebook was 25$ less then what they offered in store but wanted to do something nice for my sons graduation. I must of reiterated he was 5 ten times. they didn't even attempt to make it downplayed or more fun for a child, after putting another 100$ into the gift. Never again, i had heard the reviews but i was so excited about it I swore it would be different. I guess never ASSUME they would break down big bills in a 5 years olds money balloon. Really Ignorant!!! I called with a simple question and the. Guy who answered asked me to hold on. Some woman picks up the phone sounding very irritated. When I asked if they had any pics of what I was looking for she nastily told me I needed to go to their Facebook site. Why would you have a website and not have all the pics of your work on it?? This place is awful. For starters, there's so much junk all over the place, you'll be on sensory overload and unable to navigate your way through the store. Secondly, if you need to ask a question, be prepared for the woman that runs the place to get condescending and patronizing. Thirdly, hang onto your wallet; it's a rip off. And finally, after having paid top dollar for high float balloons, I was informed, upon pick up for an event the next day, that the balloons were filled Wed. for a Sat. pick up! i would give this business a "0" if a could! i am just so upset i did not read the reviews before i gave them my business! upon returning home with an eagles centerpiece i paid $35 for my husband called the store to inquire how much this centerpiece actually cost (his thought was they had to make a mistake). he was told on the phone the centerpiece was $25. first strike. then i also ordered 6 latex balloons, 2 black, 2 silver, 2 green. i was charged $7 a balloon. finding out later by the store owner herself they should have been $4-5 a balloon. second strike. when picking up these balloons she told me i needed a weight for $3.18. i paid the $3.18 but she never put it in my bag. third strike. when i called her to discuss these issues, she tried to tell me i probably got the large centerpiece, i did not! i probably got mylar balloons, i did not! and if i wanted to ride to the store again she would give me the weight. i told her no thanks i live in broomall. i told her i wanted to let her know i would be sharing my disappoint on her fb page. that is when she hung up on me! i decided to call back to ask her to please credit my debit card for the amount i was overcharged. she hung up on me again, giving her the benefit of the doubt i called again. that is when she said if i called again she would call the cops. as i stated i am very upset i did not read the reviews before i gave my business to this store. this seems to be a pattern with this store owner! hang up on the customer & then call the cops on them! please be aware of this store & do not patronize it!!!! . read more

1 star is way to much for a rating. Saturday 1/23/21 was the worst experience I've had with any balloon store. First let's start with Friday 1/22/21, my daughter dropped off red small mylar letters spelling out "ROBLOX" and a bag of 24 latex balloons to inflate. We were told each letter would be $2 each and the bag $3. My daughter realize after she left the store that she just paid $3 for each latex. I immediately called the store and asked the lady not to inflate the latex ones because that's too much money. She informed me that we cannot cancel the order because she turned down some orders in order to have ours blown up. Which was a lie, my daughter was the only customer in the store. I told the lady for the price you charged for these balloons we can buy 2 helium tanks. She said I told your daughter what the price would be and said have a good day and hung up the phone on me. Which is FN rude. Saturday my daughter in-law went to pick up the balloons between 1 & 1:30pm, she was handed a blue bag tied tight and a bundle of the latex. She asked the lady to hold the bundle so she could look at the lettered balloons. When she opened the bag the letter "R and "O" was deflated. My daughter in-law asked what happened the lady tried to blame it on the quality of the balloons and that she tried to save them. She had the nerve to put some type of glue on the "O". My daughter in-law told her she need to replace them the lady said she do not have red. So what color do you have the lady replies gold and silver. So gold was chosen, the lady rang up $30 for replacing the balloons my daughter in-law told her we not paying for them you destroyed our property so you have to replace them. This lady had the audacity to call the police and tell them my daughter in-law told her she was going to kill her. (What a joke...LOL) When I arrived the police were still there waiting for me. I informed them I would like to file a report against this store. We were told this is not the 1st time they had issues at this store. Knowing that these balloons were for a child's party this lady could've been a bit more accommodating than rude. If we would've read the reviews we would have not patronized this store. Their responses to negative reviews are even negative comments. One comment they made to a comment they called the person mental. The good reviews MUST be from friends and family. In this store no customer is right...by this lady. My daughter in-law laid the balloons on the counter to take pictures. This is what they looked like before she left the store. The picture of the yellow balloon was taken when we arrived home, see time photo was taken (2:04 pm). The letter "O" she put glue on and inside where you would inflate the balloon. See photo. $89.90 FOR JUST HELIUM...BALLOONS WERE NOT BROUGHT HERE. Where do I begin???? Let me start off by saying that she almost ruined my son's 8th bday. Not to mention that this bday was a sentimental one for our family. This was by far the worst customer service that I have ever experience in my entire life. I never post negative reviews BUT THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW WAS A MUST!!!! Anyways, I walked in this store with six small 16" mylar balloons and 24 latex balloon (varies colors), which were in a small clear bag to get blown up for my son's 8th bday family gathering. Danielle seemed to be super pleasant but a fast talker (a way to wheel you in and scam you out of your money) (She's FAKE) told me the price for the mylar balloons would be $2 each and the latex $3. I said okay that's reasonable. In the meantime, I'm on the phone with my mother as I'm talking to the woman. I asked should I pay now or tomorrow at the time of pick up, she states just pay now that way you won't be in the Saturday madness. (Ha! she made this statement as if people are knocking down her door to buy balloons from her store) Anyways, she swiped my debit/credit card without actually giving me a total price. In a rush/sake of time, I took my receipt. I continue to talk to my mom while leaving the store, got in my car, pulled off and glance at my receipt before putting it into my wallet and noticed that she charged me $89.90 to blow up the balloons. I was speechless, all I could say was oh my goodness, something is not right. My mom asked me what was wrong, what happened and I told her I think I was overcharged for the balloon to be blown up. Keep in mind, for the sake of time, I could not go back at the time, furthermore she was closing. My mom said no worries, I'll call her and speak with her to let her know that there was an overcharged to your debit card. Well, my mom called, and stated the above and the woman said I told your daughter that the mylar balloons was $2 each and the latex balloons was $3 each. She NEVER told me that the latex balloons would be $3 each. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD PAY $89.90 FOR ONLY HELIUM ????? LET'S BE A LITTLE BIT MORE REALISTIC HERE...Not to mention, I already purchased a small helium tank from Wal-Mart. Anyways, my mom said to the lady it's ok, my mom said, can she just get a refund for the balloons, we brought a helium tank. Danielle says to my mom that if you use a store brought helium tank the balloons will only last for 2 hours. She also stated that they were closing. My mother then said that's okay, we can just come tomorrow. The lady tells my mom that she couldn't give a refund due to the fact that her associate already started my order. My mom then gave another idea, she said how about we proceed with the mylar balloons and just get a refund for the latex balloons. Danielle then says, she still wouldn't be able to give a refund because she just had to turn other customers down because of my order. My mom proceeded to speak again but Danielle hung the phone up. I guess she ran out of lies and excuses. And also, not sure what customers she was talking about as the store was closing. Keep in mind all this happened within 5 mins of me leaving the store. Yea right...Danielle is a scam artist. She is not upfront with her prices. She makes up all kinds of lies and excuses. There is no compromising with her once she get your money. One thing I learned from this whole situation is, no matter what you are buying, (I don't care if it's a bag of chips) PLEASE do your research on a business. Had I would of read some of the negative reviews and also her response to non-satisfied customers, I would have never stepped a foot in this store. Don't trust one review site, especially not google reviews. The owner can get the negative reviews removed. There is no way on God's green earth that this lady positive reviews are truthful. Somehow, she gets the negative reviews removed and then ask her friends and family to write positive ones to keep good ratings. BE AWARE!!!!! Misread signs that said balloons were $2.00 but they were $12.00. (I thought I was getting smaller number balloons) I pointed to where I was confused and she not only insulted me numerous times but then pointed to a different sign that wasnt on the picture of the balloons. After telling her I didnt have $49 to pay for balloons, but I would get all 3 $12 I originally wanted.. she laughed and said she couldnt take the helium out which is absolutely possible. The rude customer service drove me out of the store so I went to Party City to get my balloons. Definitely wouldnt recommend unless you want bad customer service and insults ! read more

Most importantly to know about this business is that the people are rude and misleading. They offer no explanation of their no refund policy at time of order. They do not offer invoices on the orders placed. I called regarding an order that I placed nine days ahead a few hours prior and the woman was rude and actually hung up on me.
