I'm so glad I found this place! It's the closest balloon warehouse to me where I can order online and pick up in store through will call, and the process was so easy. There are other party stores near me, but they're about 45 minutes away, so having this option is a huge plus. I placed my order late the night before, and they opened at 9:30 the next morning. By 9:39 AM I already had an email saying my order was ready for pickup! It was a quick 20-minute drive, and when I arrived the owner was helping another customer but still greeted me right away. When it was my turn, he asked if I was picking up an order, got my last name, pulled everything out, and went through my invoice item by item to make sure my entire order was correct before I paid and left. Super quick and organized! I'll be honest -- I was a little nervous because I had read reviews saying the owner/operator was rude. Obviously everyone's experience can be different, but that was not my experience at all. I think he has a very specific system in place because it keeps everything running smoothly. There are signs and instructions both in the store and online explaining how everything works, and following those directions made the whole process seamless. As other reviewers have stated, Daniel, the owner, is incredibly rude, mean, and defensive. I wish I read reviews before shopping here. He replies to all the negative reviewers saying they're fake ("non-customers"), telling customers why they are at fault, and comically claiming he has given "5 star service." The balloons I got from Daniel were thin and lopsided. After spending $175, I was rather disappointed. I called him and asked if I could exchange them for a better brand like tuftex. I was very willing to pay more. He immediately gets defensive and angry over the phone, telling me that he has sold tens of thousands of these balloons, that he has amazing reviews, and never had an issue before. He tells me, "you are doing something to them!" He agreed he'd let me return the balloons but I'd have to forfeit the shipping fees both ways and pay a 20% restocking fee. I agree and thank him, but he tells me he still wants to see what I mean and I agree to send photos. After emailing the photos to him, he accuses me of shaping the balloons to look lopsided. I told him I was only holding the balloons at the base where the nozzle is and not touching the bulb of the balloon at all but he insists I was and it's my fault. For comparison, I blew up a tuftex brand balloon to show him. Those of course looked much rounder and was thicker material so looked much nicer. He tells me the reason for this is I also shaped these balloons to look nicer. He is incredibly defensive and accusatory, wanting to place blame on the customer. It's okay if it's against store policy to return items. Daniel could have left it at that. I ended up not returning the balloons because I did not want to deal with him directly anymore. It wasn't worth the anxiety and demeaning conversations. I will never be buying from this company again. Go to Joker Party Supply in LA - cheaper, better service, and you can see the balloons in person to see what you're getting unlike this place. 1 star review for 1 star service read more

I came in and an older gentleman helped me was willing to order thing he was out of and really helped me look for alternatives. I told him I would be back after checking one more place and he took no offense and was polite enough to put them aside for me. Had to come back because still buffers stores didn't have anything so we looked and looked and finally was able to find alternatives to what we Had in mind. Although this place has a large selection of balloons, hence the 2 stars, this review is in regard to the horrible customer service... When picking up my order of Mylar balloons the owner gave me a long laundry list of what not to do with the balloons, which was surprising, I had no idea balloons were so fragile. One of the instructions was to not leave them in a hot car, ok fair enough. So I took them with me while waiting for another order in a couple of stores down from balloon warehouse. I needed to put something in my car so I walked out into the sun to do so. Literally 2 minutes later they began to deflate. I returned to the store to discuss this with the owner who immediately became very defensive stating that his balloons were not defective and that I had "abused" the balloons, insisting I had left them in the car. I don't know if they were defective or if he uses low grade helium but I do know that they didn't last AT ALL in the sun and never made it into the car. I have purchased balloons from the dollar store under the same conditions that lasted for weeks. He was extremely unprofessional and irate. I will give him credit for returning my money. But unless you're transporting balloons in a freezer or during the winter, beware. read more

Great prices! Was just about to place an online order when I realized they are located 10 min away! Was able to fax in my order and was ready for pickup in about 48 hrs. Everything was easy, from ordering to pickup. Will definitely order again. My experience here was GREAT! I called because I had a question about balloon shine and explained that it was my first time using it, since he did let me know that all orders had to be placed online! Sooo he then told me I could come in and he could show me the products before buying ! I had already placed an order online for some balloons and a sizer! Though it is VERY CLEAR that you can't go in to the balloon warehouse until you get the order confirmation, he helped me out and got me my order even though he had other orders to prepare ! Horrible customer service!!!!!!!!!! I went in to purchase some balloons for my sons birthday party and from the very beginning the gentlemen helping me had an unpleasant tone in his voice. Not only was the wait long but when I handed him my husbands credit card he had enough time to ask me for my id yet he didn't so he ended up charging the credit card then asked whose card I was using after the fact that he had already charged it;I let him know that the card belonged to my husband, and he threw a huge fit and told me i was not allowed to use it even after letting him know I had authorization and that we could call him but he refused I even offered to show him my id but he just kept on ranting about the card and how I shouldn't use it. Good selection of balloons but terrible customer service. I ended up ordering from another online balloon site. I tried to order from balloon warehouse to support a local business even though their website was not working for me. It kept directing me to a paypal site that never linked back to their site very time I tried to put an item in my cart. I waited until they were open after the holidays and called the guys was unfriendly in tone from the moment the conversation began. The essence of the conversation was that it must be my lack of ordering skills. I order online all the time think I know how it works dude. When I moved onto a new site it wasn't a problem. Anyhow I moved on to trying to place an order by phone with him despite the general unpleasant tone. He informed me he would not do a phone order for less than 75$ and was frankly uninterested in hearing my order though I told him I was prepared with the item numbers in hand. He basically wanted my assurance that it would come to 75 dollars before he bothered with me. I hung up and ordered from a website that worked correctly the first time. Sometimes it doesn't pay to try to patronize a local business I guess. These people do not value the customer only want big business orders! The rude tone just icing on the cake. read more
