I have rented a helium tank twice from Balloonit for a retirement party and for a birthday party. The balloons lasted from morning through the night. We popped them at the end of the night for clean up, so they would have lasted longer. If you're a DIY type of person, this is a very easy process; inflate, tie off balloon, tie a string/ribbon to the balloon, and voilà! Bunch them up or scatter them across the ceiling. Called Balloonit seeking assistance with helium for a proposal and spoke with Mark. He let us know that he could help us out and for a great price. Mark was professional and extremely customer service driven. Picked up our tank on Friday, explained how the tank worked and best practices for blowing up our balloons and off we went. 3 day tank rental, spoke with Mark about dropping the tank off a day early and he was fine with that. The owner Mark of BalloonIt was completely unprofessional. I have a friends 40th Birthday party on Saturday. I made arrangements to rent a helium tank from him 3 weeks prior to the party. I asked him if he needed anything from me as far as a credit card to reserve it his response in an email was no just call me on the Thursday prior to arrange a pick up time. On Thursday I emailed him to arrange the pick up time and he sent me an email back saying he was going to be out of town Friday for the weekend. I now have to figure this out in one day. Here is his extremely unprofessional email response when I asked if he could recommend someone else or if we could pick up before he left town. "Yea and that's how it works 99.99% of the time, but I did not know I was going out of town. It would be impossible for me to have known and I can't write every single person up that calls for helium because half of them I don't hear back from" First of all Mark there is a string of emails dating back to August 12th when I inquired about renting a tank from you and a confirmation from you. I'm very sorry about your friend and I would've been much more accepting if you would've reached out to me and let me know you had to cancel as soon as you knew you would be out of town. However you didn't call and cancel Mark I reached out to you and your response was the following. And you didn't offer any suggestions until the 3rd email when I asked if you could recommend something to help me. read more

Amazing, personal, committed customer service. This husband and wife crew showed up 4 hours before our event to create 5 balloon arches for our carpool commencement. Morning rain did not deter them. They stored the arches under our solar panels to protect them from the rain as they blew up balloon after balloon. Mark just did some balloon pillars for my daughter's quinceanera and they were so beautiful. We had a Hollywood themed event and he made some gold and black pillars with a camera mylar balloon on top. They added the perfect touch! We got so many compliments on the pillars and my daughter just loved them!! Also, Mark is so kind. Baloonit has been a life saver for me! I work at a florist in San Diego and nearly the entire nation is out of helium. I contacted them 2 days before my party in a bind because the thought of picking up 50 balloons from party city and transporting them to my party was really stressing me out. I am so glad I made that call because the owner was super helpful and the price was reasonable. So I was looking for balloons delivery for my fiancé since I don't live in San Diego I had to call this store to order a huge 6 ft balloons. I did talk to Mark and we arranged the balloon style and I gave him the delivery address. He then called me telling me he can't find the apartment so I told him to leave it at the leasing office since my fiancé was not home that day. He then called me telling me he can't find the leasing office which I don't get cuz its the first thing when you enter the apartment. Then I told him to take it with him to the store and then my fiancé will come later to pick it up. He refuses he told me he was too busy and he left the balloons in the parking lot. Can you imagine. Of course my fiancé could not find the balloons at the parking lot somebody took it.
