Blanca did our son's 1st birthday party, and although they don't paint faces for the younger babies/toddlers (which we knew), there were plenty of kids at the party and everyone commented how great she was. Mostly the girls got their faces painted and were truly works of art around their eyes - she used color so well and blended the different colors so beautifully, with pretty accents and glitter... she is very talented. For the guys she did some cool things too like a batman shaped mask around their eyes, or a full face spiderman. I had seen the pictures of the animal faces and we were hoping for more of that, but Im not sure if that is only done by Daniela. I understand too though that she did what kids requested based on her book of samples. The balloons at the end were good but definitely more simple, so I wouldn't say that's really their specialty (in case that's what you're really looking for). But the variety of doing both face painting and balloons is still worth it and was a great package. Regardless, we were really happy with her work and would definitely recommend them. read more

Daniela was AWESOME! She was able to accommodate my daughter's 6th birthday party last minute and was so nice and professional over email. She showed up 15 minutes before the time I booked to set up her station and she had everything - paint, balloons, chair, table and even a tent. When she was done setting up, she had a swarm of 4-6 year olds touching her stuff and all trying to climb into the chair. She was so nice to the kids and asked that they wait in a line so she can work on the birthday girl first. My daughter was so happy and she made her feel so special. Since we had a jumper as well and kids never want to wait in line, she painted a number on each kid's hand. When it was their turn, she would call their number so they can come and choose their design. She even retouched my daughter's face before we did the cake so it came out nice in the photos. The facepaint/tattoos were amazing! Her designs really looked like the samples she showed in her book and she was very gentle with each kid. They were so detailed and carefully done, she did not rush any of the kids and they all came out so perfect. She was able to get through all of the kids and then it was time for balloons. The balloons also blew me away. Again, she took her time with each request and was able to accommodate all of the kids in the timeframe that was promised. Daniela is so talented and I cannot wait to have another party so I can hire her again. By the time the party was over, I had several family/friends that asked for her card because they were so impressed with her professionalism, organization and her works of art. We lucked out and booked Daniela last minute for my son's birthday party last weekend. She was absolutely phenomenal and I couldn't have been more pleased. I was really hoping to find someone of San Diego Zoo/theme park caliber and Daniela definitely delivered. All of the kids (and parents) loved what she was able to do. She was extremely friendly and professional. It does take around 5 - 6 minutes per child, so plan accordingly! We just had my daughters 4th birthday party and Blanca came to do face painting and balloon animals. This girl was AMAZING!! Even though the kids had numbers, none of them wanted to leave to jump in the bounce house or decorate cookies. They were all so excited! Even the parents were complimenting her work, many of them said it looked exactly like the kind of artwork you see at the SD Zoo or Sea World, maybe even better. And the balloons were super cute. You think, oh they are just balloon animals, but this girl adds the cutest finishing touches. She drew faces and added googly eyes, the kids were so excited!. Blanca was very sweet and professional.
