Spent $73 for 5 roses in a glass of water "Designers Choice". It wasn't the holidays, or Mothers' Day or Valentines Day or any other time of the year they would be busy.

I originally bought a Groupon from Flowers Todays and paid extra for the a 4 hour delivery. The flowers were for my partners grandma who is very sick in the hospital. Balloons and Blooms never delivered the flowers and canceled the order without my permission/knowledge. The man who answered Did not take any responsibility and wanted to blame someone else.

I still feel like it isn't what I paid for and the flower arrangement itself was a little sloppy and not up to a "premium" par, but after my emotions calmed down, I didn't think it was fair to give this business a 1 star as I originally did. I'd like to provide a picture of the final product so that future customers can form their own opinion! If I ever decided to use this business again, it will be in person, not through a 3rd party vendor.

Jerry did it again! I asked Jerry for a specific arrangement with my Aunt's favorite flowers for her 90th Birthday and he was able to arrange just what I had requested. It was beautiful and my Aunt loved it along with the Happy Birthday balloon. Thanks Jerry! Suggestion: If you want something specific call well in advance so that Jerry has plenty of time to work on your order. read more

Beautiful arrangement! I was looking for a florist who does exotic/contemporary arrangements, I like something other than a traditional arrangement. I found them online and they had good reviews so I decided to try them and I was not disappointed. The whole process was very easy. I went to their website and everything is done online and it was quick and painless. I made my selection and placed the order and I wanted it delivered the next day. The recipient of the arrangement was so surprised and thought the arrangement was beautiful! He sent me a picture and I was so happy because it looked, actually better, just like the picture they had on their website. I would definitely recommend them when you have a special occasion and need flowers or just go and treat yourself! read more

Frank and Jerry are great to work with. I had a wedding in November and needed 7 bouquets for my bridesmaids, bridal bouquet, 2 corsages, 10 boutonnieres, and some other odd and end flowers for our special day. I came in with a photo that I liked for my bouquet and a vision of my color preferences and WOW did they deliver. My bouquet looked and smelled amazing as well as the other flowers. The color choice for the hand-tied ribbon was spot on. I was stunned when I seen them. I would beyond recommend Balloons and Blooms for any flower needs. read more

Shout out o Jerry@ Balloons and Blooms! I called to ask about placing an online order and he suggested for faster delivery that I place the order with him directly. I really appreciated this suggestion because the recipient of my flowers ( my MOM) is at school for a set number of hours and I wanted to make sure they got to her in time. Jerry is clearly familiar with the area-- knew exactly where the location was that I was sending the flowers which put me at ease a bit since now I know the flowers will get to my Mom without a problem. When you order flowers from out of state, calling and getting someone like Jerry on the line is so comforting because it kind of feels like you are trusting someone blindly in this situation. After being a regular customer for several years I am so disappointed in the service I received today. I felt like I could always get high quality flowers at a reasonable price with the best customer service. I bragged about this place and recommended them anytime flowers were mentioned in a conversation. This changed today when I pre-ordered 2 bouquets for loved ones and got less than satisfactory product. My mistake was leaving with the bouquets and thinking that since they were busy I would let it go this time. When I got to my destination and unwrapped the flowers u realized they were smashed in some areas and not as fresh as I am accustomed to. This is a very busy day for me so going back was out of the question. I called after I got back home to get ready for my own Valentine festivities and decided to call and let the owners know about my experience. They always say 100% guaranteed quality and since service had always been top notch I never doubted their word. To my surprise I was hit with a rude owner on the other end of the phone asking me what I expected him to do?! I would have been happy with an apology and him telling me next time I would get a little extra (sounds reasonable to me). I was instead told that if I bring back the flowers he would give me a refund! I delivered the flowers on a busy holiday and this isn't an option. He was rude and abrupt and totally took me aback. I will never go back and I no longer recommend this place!! I understand Valentine's is a flower shops busiest day of the year but professionalism is key at all times. Looking for a new locally owned flower shop if you have any recommendations. read more

Not what I ordered. Did not arrive, so had to make the call to check on delivery. They said they were waiting on the delivery of the flowers I ordered to arrive at the shop. They finally got delivered around 4pm and they were half dead! I called to complain, they had no care in the world. Will never order from here! read more

It's good to see that I was right about the customer service being strong on my last review. I didn't even ask for a refund, it was offered by the business owner, I'm glad old school American customer service isn't dead in this country. Previous review: I wanted to really be super positive so I'm rounding my review up to 4 stars. They were really nice in the store and accommodating even though it was right before Valentine's Day. So that's gotta be worth something. I feel like the customer service and general friendliness was worthy of 5 stars. I just had a few gripes, so for one, I wanted to make my arrangement bigger , but it looks like by doing so it ended up looking cluttered. I think I would have benefited from having a larger vase , and maybe different placement of stuff. What ended up happening was they just added more flowers to a pre existing arrangement so that's why it looked a bit smashed. In pictures it doesn't look like I spent over $200 but in person it does look a bit better. I was also hoping for roses that weren't fully bloomed, they replaced a couple for me that were like that but when I came the next day to pick them up I noticed many more that were fully bloomed. Which isn't a problem per se , but it means the flowers probably won't live too long because they are at the end of their life cycle. The bow was really pretty I wish they had a larger one when the arrangement got bigger you couldn't really notice it as well as you could on their pre arranged ones. I kinda wished I would have had an option to design one from the ground up , but I get it, it's Valentine's Day people are busy. I'm also not going to say anything negative about the price, because it just seems like Albuquerque in general just has really expensive flowers. I'm originally from LA and we have a massive flower market with florists in them where we pay half of the prices in this town. So I've been growing accustomed to that part. For me, the thing that sets apart a florist from let's say, getting flowers at Whole Foods, is the customization , fine details, artistry, execution, and design that you miss out on by buying flowers from a place like that. I know times get busy, just hoping next time I'll have the forethought to get more involved and ask if it might look more full in a bigger vase or if I should go buy a larger bow myself and wrap it, etc. Ya know? Just to make things perfect. Ultimately a perfect gift is priceless

Everything in here fits within a 5000 square-foot space and they have lots of furniture and clothing of course (mostly women's). They also have oddball items like hot wheels, comic books, and baseball cards. If you don't wanna pay that new furniture price, they definitely have a great assortment of couches, chairs, and tables for about half retail. Plenty of jewelry on display as well. They do have three dressing rooms, but no public bathroom.

What a pain to try and do business here. It was hardly worth the trip and I will not be back.

I've had a couple of wonderful experiences with Jerry and Frank at Balloons and Blooms. Our first was our daughter's wedding several years ago. The bouquets on the table were particularly magnificent, leading to many a compliment from our guests. Roses petal were spread down the aisle and on the tables, added a bit of romance to the occasion. Recently, I took them crystal bowls from my home that they magically turned into enviable centerpieces. I had told them the color scheme that I was working with, and... wow.
