Some of the teachers are amazing, but the owner is downright evil. There's so much I dont have enough room to tell it all, but it ends with the studio stealing money out of my account. Make sure you call your bank before you decide to leave, or Susan will steal from you. I've seen other reviews on this, so I'm not the only one. They give incentives to people for their 5 star reviews. Dont be fooled. Passive-aggressive, manipulation, lies, aggressiveness, and microagressions, they've got it all. It's not a healthy studio to send your kids to. If you value morals and integrity, this place is NOT for you. Take your money where your kids can thrive.

I have also brought my 9 year old in for Hip Hop with Camille, among other opportunities that have opened up for us both. Absolutely a game changer when it comes to classes in variety and just the ambiance of dance and all skill levels. Some classes did seem pricey along with registration fee. However, from witnessing my daughters growth and even how I'm brushing up again on my dance skills, I think it's worth it.

We attended the 2023 Studio 22 **OpenHouse** It was a full day of free classes, and it was…read morespectacular!! We had a great time, felt confident in what we learned, and certainly will go back soon for more lessons and events. We both wanted to take country dance classes but didn't like that our only option was a bar. When we tripped across Studio 22, this is exactly what we'd hoped for. This event was organized and well planned with professional instructors who were patient and kind. Studio 22 made it fun, not intimidating. The ratio of guests balanced itself out. They encourage frequent rotation of partners (if you go as a couple, that's okay too), no one person was without a partner for too long. There was a wide range of dance lessons, not just country. The studio itself was very spacious, large enough to hold 50 - 80 people comfortably. There are dozens of four top tables along the wall, no reservations, you have to grab one asap. You are allowed to bring your own water bottles (BYOB). They kept the temperature very comfortable, impressive! Dress code is casual attire, something easy to move in, and shoes you can easily shuffle in. There is a fantastic YELP coupon when you check in: 1 Free Group Lesson. I plan to redeem it and will write another review about it.

My 2 year old daughter LOVES Park Cities Dance! It is such a great place for little ones to go and…read morelearn the "beginnings" of dance. We just left the summer dance camp this morning...and there were even little boys having fun with Miss Leigh Ann and the girls! My daughter started going once a week last fall & Leigh Ann Joel teaches the 2-3 year old classes and she is wonderful! She teaches them basic hand/foot coordination, working in a group, following instruction, and they occasionally have dress up day with lots of laughter. I have a very outgoing little one, who walked right into class the first day as if she'd been there a million times. But, one Friday there was a little girl who was dressed in her ballet outfit ready for class, but she was so shy & scared she couldn't bring herself to go in the class. She came back the next Friday, same fear of the classroom (there are never more than 5-6 in the room) and this sweet toddler peered into the window and watched the entire time. After class ended, Leigh Ann took the little 2 year old girl into the ballet room ALONE to have 10-15 minutes of dance and fun, and get comfortable with the room. THEN, Leigh Ann suggested the mom to bring her 10 minutes early the next week, so when class started, the little girl was already comfortable in the room. IT WORKED! Here is what I think: 1) it's clean, professional and very conservative (NO Toddlers & Tiara stuff at this place) 2) the classes are small 3) they require the girls - even toddlers - to dress in plain, conservative, traditional ballet attire (I like this because it's good for the kids to be on the same level with their outfits) 4) they are always happy to make changes in classes based on schedules of the parents 5) the owner & her staff are all professional dancers and VERY talented! I highly recommend this school for their care, professionalism and overall enjoyment of what they do.
