Our first dance was a hit, thanks to Andrey! We had several sessions with him and learned a lot! Andrey listened to our music options and suggested the song that would be easiest for beginners - and he was absolutely right! In addition, we loved that he suggested a non-traditional dance style for us (swing) based on the song we chose! His instructions are clear and he was patient when we struggled on certain moves, including suggesting to keep trying or pivoting to something else that may work better. Andrey helped us create and clean up our dance choreography, and our guests were thrilled that we ended with a lift and a dip. Our wedding's first dance was an absolute hit, all thanks to our Andrey! Andrey is fun, knowledgeable, and an experienced dance teacher. Using his tools and teachings he helped us to be in the moment and have fun during our 1st dance. At first, I was a little intimidated but his process is bulletproof. Beyond teaching the steps, he helps bring the chemistry of dancing - that intangible connection that makes dance truly special and under his guidance, we learned to convey our style through movement. As we talked about our wedding with our family and friends they all mentioned how awesome was our dance. Thanks again Andrey and highly recommend him for a 1st dance or just for fun!

Such a fantastic experience, Andrey is truly the best, he prepared and taught us a great dance for our first wedding dance. Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful experience with Andrey preparing for the first dance at our wedding. He is a very talented dancer and choreographer, but also an amazing teacher. We were complete newbies and he guided us all the way up to having an amazing performance that we received many genuine compliments on. Our lessons actually turned into very fun date nights where we would go out after and discuss what we learned and what to practice! Overall, I would recommend Andrey for any dance needs - NYC Is lucky to have him!

We had so many people tell us it was the best first dance they had ever seen and we owe it all to Andrey.

Another friend had taken classes at this academy before and highly recommended it, so the three of us booked an Introduction to Ballet class on Sunday at 12:00. Check-in was quick and easy. The class was $25 for an hour and a half, which I think is very reasonable considering it's from an actual ballet school. There's no strict dress code, which worked out well since none of us owned ballet attire -- we just wore regular workout clothes and socks, and it was perfectly fine. The instructor was wonderful. She started by asking who had never taken ballet before, then positioned the newer students between people with experience so it would be easier to follow along. I really appreciated that, as I have no dance background and definitely found myself lost more than once. Having people around me to follow made it much less intimidating. The class itself was energetic and fun. The instructor was patient, encouraging, and made sure to keep things approachable for beginners. I'm sure my form was atrocious and I messed up plenty of times, but nobody cared -- the atmosphere was supportive and welcoming, and everyone was just there to enjoy themselves and keep trying. The class had people of all different skill levels and abilities, and it felt very inclusive. Overall, this was a great introduction class, especially for someone nervous about trying something new. I never once felt self-conscious, and I genuinely had fun. I'd highly recommend this academy to anyone looking to take dance classes, whether you have experience or not. If I were interested in pursuing ballet, I would definitely come back.

The architecture is incredible, and the second you walk in you can feel the history. In a weird way, it kind of makes you think, "Wait... is this place haunted?" or "What stories could these walls tell?" I've been lucky enough to see a bunch of really cool art installations here over the years, plus a few fashion shows. If you've never been, definitely check out their website to see what's going on because there's always something interesting happening. The latest installation I saw had three huge pools inside this giant wooden deck with blown glass bowls floating around on the water. The whole thing was super relaxing. Some people were taking naps, some were quietly talking with friends, and others were just sitting there watching the glass drift around and soaking in the ASMR vibes. It's such a cool example of how creative they get with the space. In my dream world, I'd get married here lol.
