The amazing photo from Brian's profile is from our wedding. (and that's just scratching the surface of what this guy can do!) When we first approached Brian I must say we had no idea what we were getting into. How could we have a balloon decorations at a classy wedding at the Disney Hotel? My wife and I were extremely nervous and contemplated cancelling all together...we are so glad we didn't. The over-sized Mickey and Minnie were the perfect photo opp for our guests! I think every single person took a picture in front of the balloons, and at some point towards the end of the night, Mickey and Minnie made their way to the dance floor and partied the rest of the night away. We also threw Brian a curve ball, which he handled brilliantly. At the last minute we decided to have all kids 13 and under in a different room during the dinner and reception. We wanted Brian to entertain them while the adults had their fun. I couldn't tell you what exactly went on, or how he managed to entertain them (we never made it downstairs into the "kids room"), but I can say we heard 0 complaints from the kids and parents. In fact, my nephew came up to my wife and I at the end of the night and asked "You guys had a party up here too?!?". As if the party was for them, we thought that was hilarious. The Ballusionist is amazing and he does incredible work. On separate occasions he made me a giant gargoyle face that sat on my head, and another time he made me a seahorse that was riding a wave. Yes, both were as awesome as they sound. Anytime my husband and I see another "balloon artist," we have to compare them to the Ballusionist. No other balloon artist comes close. I recently threw a big birthday for my son's 1st birthday at a hotel. I had seen Ballusionist from another party blog website that listed his services and I didn't want an average Plain Jane balloon artist (i.e. wimpy dog, tiny flower). Brian was very clear about pricing and his services, so there was no room for confusion, which I liked. I still wasn't sure about his creations because I hadn't seen them in person, only pictures from the website. First, Brian showed up at the venue on time and ready to go. He had everything with him that he needed and was friendly. Right away, the kids flocked to him and then omg wow! I was hosting so I was busy greeting and socializing with everyone but once in awhile a balloon design would catch my eye. Some kids were asking for basic things like animals because they were used to just "regular" balloon artists. But as the party went on, the design were getting more detailed and intricate. Brian made an incredible hot dog hat (you really have to see it) and a killer whale, a la Shamu hat, Ariel.. and it goes on and on. Just fantastic. He was engaging and friendly with the kids waiting in line and he was very subtle about asking if I wanted to continue with the balloon creations since it went over my time, with no hard push. I definitely appreciate that because I don't want guests to hear negotiations or pricing. I ended up going almost to the end of the party, 3 hours total, it was definitely the hit of the party. So far, I've had quite a few guests ask who he is and what the company name is and it is only the day after. I'm hard to please, but from my guests comments, and what I saw, these were some of the best designs by far. Brian work ethic was also incredible, he never stopped working and never took a break (lungs of steel). I'm secretly hoping one of our friends hires him, so we can go to their party and get more balloons... If you have the opportunity to book him, you will definitely not regret it! read more
