Ok if there is a place where I could (and did) spend hours on end relaxing it would be Balme. When exploring La Baule we ended up in a little square filled with shops and bars. A lot of things were closed but this was open and the man working there was so friendly. I sat to enjoy a glass of white wine and ended up sitting there for hours with my family. Arnold, our server, ended up bringing us some truffle sausage to try and then we ordered a cheese plate. It was a delightful experience and I would most definitely try and make a stop here if you're in La Baule. read more
