It is now a lot more open and with a large selection of rocks for kids that are reasonably priced. They have more rock kits and less expensive options than in the past while still keeping a lot of beautiful high value display pieces that are gorgeous to look at. The owner was very friendly. I love rocks and was drooling over the minerals and geodes. I ended up buying a pink and purple geode and a purple amethyst while the boyfriend got a really cool rock (I forgot the type). The gal who helped us was a character out of a movie. She was charming, witty and very knowledgeable of her merchandise. She was happy to help take things out of the case for us to look at. Kids came in for a treasure hunt they were doing for school, and she treated them with great kindness. Even if you aren't into rocks or fossils, I would recommend that you still check this place out. They have beautiful etched glass, mobiles and other things to peruse on the other side of their store.
