They teach by following the program/the dates that were plugged into the computer system and give assignments according to schedule. When a student asks for further instruction or explanation, most are clueless, because the material is above their heads. Thus, you pay them and teach yourself. There are a few who are dedicated and knowledgeable but these are far and few in between. Some are just looking for an extra paycheck and have a buddy system who will punch their time clock when not in attendance, either by arriving late or leaving early. This is commonly known as stealing time and a fire able offense. It would be easy for administration to discipline if this was an uncommon problem, but here it seems to be like a disease, and they would lose too many staff. This poor quality training seems to be the norm these days. There may be a difference between day and night instructors. More eyes are watching during the day classes, whereas the night classes are lacking professionalism. I'm hopeful that things will change before it is too late for me. Goodluck.

Granted, I have nothing else to compare it to as this is my first time going to school in about 15 years. The professors come from a wide variety of studies and parts of the world which contributes to the global aspect of the learning repertoire. The daytime student body is comprised mostly of Chinese students who have little to no work experience. You'll find at more established universities they do not need to rely on this demographic for sustainability. The evening student body is your average full-time worker who brings a lot more to the discussions and group work. The campus is perfection. Brand new building and one of the best locations in the harbor. The staff who works here tries very very hard to keep the building in excellent working order. I'm always impressed with the level of staff here. The officers go above and beyond to maintain a secure building. I love coming to campus. I graduate in a few months and will honestly miss being a student here. I will love and appreciate having Johns Hopkins on my diploma and CV for the rest of my life.

Most of the professors are great, and the classmates are usually working professionals with families, so it's not the same drama that you may get when the class is fresh out of high school. There is always someone to help you along the way. Starting a new venture is an adjustment. Students come from different backgrounds. We are mothers' father's single household, caretakers and in the workforce. The first year one learns how to juggle your time. Everyone has a different study time depending on the needs of the family. Some study while children are doing their homework, others may get up early or stay up late. You must fine your place to maintain your studies. Professors don't care about you either, just regard you as a number. The school uses tuition money just to improve their flat screen tv's and sports teams, nothing else, they don't care about students at all. They fool students because just paying for the name, not for anything else. And just like at any college, bullying and fights happen too, that doesn't just happen in elem, middle and high school, it happens in college too. Many rude stuck up students there too. And just about all the students who attend here eventually end up going into a lot of debt and financial struggles. Just because it's called SU, doesn't mean it's great because it isn't. Buildings aren't clean either and students will leave trash anywhere. Being honest. Ignore all the fake positive reviews lying saying they "love it at su", those reviews just written by su employees, not by actual people who went there.

Took a five-hour test and had a good experience. The test center is nice and clean, and is located…read morein a small office building. Earmuffs were offered. They were not electronic noise-cancelling headphones but did a good job of blocking out noise. There are partitions on each side of the desk, offering good privacy so that one is not bothered by movements to either side of the desk. The size of the monitor is around 22" and has good resolution. The chair is fairly comfortable with basic height and tilt adjustment. The temperature inside was a bit on the cooler side so dressing in layers is recommended. The staff were very professional and courteous, and provided detailed instructions regarding check-in, key to the locker, code for the restroom, and taking breaks. For my specific test, plenty of scratch paper was offered, along with two sharpened No. 2 pencils. The only downside is that the restroom is located down the hall about 50 yards away. I only had a 10-minute break and had to sprint all the way from and to the test center, plus the time needed to get a drink from my water bottle from the locker and the time took to check back in, there was very little time left when I was back at the desk (my test would be forfeited if I was not back within 10 minutes). Highly recommend this test center and would come back again.

The behaviour of the receptionist/front office staff was shockingly rude. It was enough to get into a screaming match with her to regain some semblance of control of the situation. This is not the environment you want to come to when you take a test. I dropped hundreds of dollars to take a test necessary for my career at a company that essentially has a monopoly stranglehold on the industry, so I can understand that they wouldn't care to have good customer service. However, we can at least exercise a modicum of choice in not going to this particular branch. I'm a good test-taker and don't get ruffled easily, but one can feel pity toward the great majority of the population who get nervous during tests and have the misfortune of being met by disgustingly ill-mannered staff for something that can make or break career advancement. For shame.
