I am drafting this review as Dave and his crew finish up at my house. This is the first time I've…read moreever scheduled something so major in the yard at my house, and I was a little anxious of how things were going to turn out. Dave personally came out to my house on a Saturday and gave me a written estimate. He priced things "a la carte" so I could choose the things that were most important to me, and I ended up taking a few things off the list so I could save some money. To help keep the cost down he also let me keep the wood from the large Oak tree we had to have removed, and he cut it to the length of fire wood so I can split it at my leisure. This is an extra bonus for me because it took some money off the price and it will mean having some great free firewood this winter! I like how easy he was to deal with. I had to change things around after he came out to do the initial estimate. He was really quick to call me back when I had a question, and the maximum I had to wait to hear back from him was 24 hours. He even gave me his cell phone so I could call him with questions. We needed a permit to remove the largest tree and Dave knew the person who to call directly in Orange County, a convenient plus. Dave has been here during the work the whole time, and when I asked him this morning if he would be checking on the crew during the day, he explained that he only operates one crew at a time, that way he can oversee everything they do. I have seen him working with them hand in hand all day. I'm watching them now, and they have done more than I asked, and they are blowing off my patio and yard, carting every little piece away. They left the mulch from the stump and I will use that in the flower beds in my yard. The wood from the Oak tree is piled at the side of my yard. My patio is cleaner right now than when they got here. I am really pleased with how this turned out.

I've had comments on the oak tree such as "that's gorgeous" and "its beautiful! ". His crew is courteous, friendly and did a great job leaving our property cleaned up. Joe met with the neighbors who share in the oak's overhang to clean up the debris that happened over the fence. Joe's stump grinder guy showed up the next day without any incident. Here and gone in 30 minutes or less. Will keep Joe's number in case my awesome canary island palm doesn't survive the weevil infestation, or is it a fungus it is presumed to have?
