This is a unique practice that offers both holistic and mainstream approaches to health. It has a large apothecary by the front desk. Dr. Malak listens to the parents and this is an invaluable quality for a health care provider. He never forces anyone into anything. The office is very nice considering how much traffic it sees every day. Yes, there are waits. Yes, there are imperfections. Yes, there is disorganization at times. But for me it is a better scenario than a very punctual office with a terrible provider. read more

BEWARE! I raised my daughters and we went to Bambini. Years ago,, Dr Malak and Dr Somer actually saw my children. Wonderful doctors. Now, my children are grown and we brought one of my grandchildren there.. Disrespectful,, they talk AT you,, very very rude.. This is a sad shame how this practice has devolved.. These commies will report you to CPS. Unprofessional staff! These people no longer respect the parents' right to make medical decisions for their children. If you disagree with them, they will even lie to police, etc. Stay far far away. You have been warned. read more

Worst experience ever! I took my daughter for her annual checkup, and the doctor came In and proceeded to curse at my 13 yr old daughter and grab her aggressively and wen I asked her what the hell she thought she was doing she walked out the room and told the man that runs the practice and he condoned her behavior , and told us to leave! And now I got a letter in the mail saying we need to find a better doctor! This is the 2nd time I had a problem with them I should've recognized the red flags! I really like this practice. We've been going there for almost 2 years, and we've been to several of the providers. 5 Stars...which is pretty rare for me. Before COVID19, I would've leaned towards 4 stars, because we were waiting longer and longer for our appointments (20-30 minutes). We drove 30 minutes to get there, so it really added to the trip. Also, they don't have a sick and a well waiting room, so we were sitting in a packed waiting room for extended periods of time was undesirable. COVID19 and beyond - I observed this office taking precautions for the first time in the first two weeks of March 2020. They had timers set to ensure frequent cleaning of shared surfaces. They've really evolved with their precautions. It's quite impressive how they've adapted. Overall - My kids are older. They always feel heard at this practice. They're always involved in their care. All of the providers are very knowledgeable about current research in so many areas. They look at the whole health of a person, which I love. I've never felt pushed in anyone direction or outside of our comfort zone. read more

As I've stated in other reviews this has been a year of medical mishaps and misfortunes. We had to go to Bambini for urgent care while traveling, and they not only took us in right away, but ensured that we'd return daily (even though they were fully booked) for follow up care because the situation was so critical. In lieu of a hospital admission Dr. Aranjoye gave us at home protocol for management and wrote a script for a nebulizer machine. Because he LISTENED to my concerns and symptom descriptions he was able to swiftly and accurately diagnose the situation. He was not dismissive as many Drs can be due to trying to see many patients in a short time. This was a great experience and the practice tries to give you options for treating the patient to prevent illness as opposed to simply masking a symptom(s). The care here is evident, for both patients and family. Of note, Angela at the front desk is an administrative JOY. She has all the answers, is respectful, resourceful and manages the office w professionalism and courtesy. She made me choose this practice over others bc other places turned you off before you even walked in the door. I'm GRATEFUL for this place. read more

Took my daughter to get her ear piercing here. They are one of five places in NY that use medical plastic earrings. What's the benefit? Zero infections. They did a great job, couldn't be happier but here's the real story. I called for an appointment. I initially gave a date I wanted but realized I couldn't so I gave another date that I was able to go on the same call. About 2 weeks later we go (45 min drive) and once we got in they said you missed your appointment. I was confused and angry because they said the staff worker never changed the date or did but never entered it. So I was like this trip was for nothing? And before the lady in the front desk could nod her head a nurse that was near them who was putting her jacket to leave for the day said.. "No, I can do it just give me a moment" she took her jacket left for a moment and there she was dressed in her nurses outfit and brought us to the room for piercing. I'm embarrassed that we forgot her name and even more embarrassed that it took me 7 months to write this review. Anyway.. great place for anyone looking for your child's first piercings. read more

We've been with Bambini for over 10 years. As we've been there it has grown tremendously because they are so good. As a result, they are always incredibly busy. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because the wait times have increased as they've become busier. They do need to correct this issue. read more

The doctor we see is wonderful! But they need to work on A LOT. The parking is atrocious. They seem to be expanding their business but not the space needed for it. Also, EVERY TIME I CALL, there are at least 5 ppl ahead of me. (Today there were 9) It isn't a great experience to have a crying child while on hold for 20 minutes trying to speak to a doctor. You should always be able to reach your child's doctor quickly. I think it's unacceptable. You sit on hold forever while listing to the same Disney songs over and over again. read more

We have been bringing our 3 children to bambini for the last 12 years. The front staff is courteous. I am very pleased with all the doctors. They go above and beyond to make our children feel at ease. The doctors listen and do not speak over you. They are respectful. We feel fortunate to be able to bring our children there. I'm so sorry to read the negative comments and bad experiences a few people have had. The only complaint I would have about the practice is that there are long phone wait times. read more

Only ever had good experiences here. Very helpful and everyone has been great with my son. Been going since he was born. My sister's daughter's also come here. Traveling over 45 minutes just to come here rather than see someone nearby. I know 2 other friends who also drive out to Poughkeepsie just to bring their children here. I want to be able to give a higher rating. First, everyone praises Dr Malak.. Let me be completely clear, in the 2.5 years I have brought my child to this practice I have never even seen the man. Every visit is with a nurse or PA. I do feel medical staff is well informed on the latest in "alternative" medicine. I am generally pleased with how attentive and adaptable they are with my sons needs. The office staff is a different story. They do not have phone or reception manners. Recently I was told I owed a balance - a bill that had already been handled. On another occasion I was sent a surprise bill in the mail for "filling out" routine daycare forms (which by the way, *I* filled out, they signed, and provided a printout of vaccinations). The office staff comes across as extremely rude and uncompassionate - a total shame because the medical staff really paints a different picture. read more

I'm sad that it took me this long to find Bambini but also excited for what the future will bring. It makes me happy knowing that I can trust this group of doctors to offer me solid advice when my young son is ill. The office is so clean and the staff are incredibly nice, funny, and are genuinely happy to be around the kids! I felt so welcome. Last week we took our son in for a quick visit when he became sick. I was happy that the doctor suggested turmeric and honey as ways to help our son. The previous pediatrician we saw suggested Tylenol all the time and antibiotics on five different occasions within our sons first year of life! So, Bambini is for sure a breathe of fresh air! read more

Have been a patient for over 6 years and finally left the practice. Never see a doctor. Tired of being constantly charged with various $25 fees for EVERYTHING. Forms fees, email fees, you name it, they will charge a fee for it and it will not be going through health insurance. My approximate wait time was between 45 minutes and 1.5 hr every time, but by god you got to be there ON TIME. My latest draw was when I had to take 4 hours off of work for an appointment, approximately costed me $200 in docked hours that I will never get back. My son was difficult to get out of the house that morning (sick and on top of it he has a genetic disorder) so we were late 15 minutes, came in and the front stuff was extremely rude and did not accept us. I was very upset and explained the situation, they were absolutely not interested in what you have to say and your reasons, they just told me they would reschedule me. I don't have a lot of time off or money, as I am a single parent, absolutely inconsiderate and heartless staff. Later next month, I am receiving a bill for a $50 NO SHOW FEE! I am laughing because who did not show was the doctor, we were there fighting to be seen. I need to send them a $200 bill for my HOURS DOCKED FEE. On top of everything, my son has a genetic disorder, and I NEVER received guidance or phone calls or emails suggesting family groups, health related resources that I am receiving with my new pediatric office, phone calls offering to sign us up with various support groups! Please save yourself headache, money and heartache and find a caring practice in the area. Such as Kathleen Ennabi or other reputable doctor's office. I am very happy with my new pediatric doctor where I receive a lot of guidance, phone calls, emails and the best is that it is FREE. read more
