When you walk in, it is so homey. We were excited to try the food! We went when they had the pizza buffet. First of all, when you have a pizza buffet, you should have more then one kind of pizza. Pepperoni was the only option for us, Ruben came out while we were there. Those were our only options. And the pizza was fair at best. The salad bar... just don't! Nothing was fresh. My daughter wanted broccoli with ranch, a favorite snack of hers, she spit it out! We certainly won't return. read more

Very poor food and very bad employees I've been in many many many times trying to give them chances to redeem themselves but they just can't seem to do it or they don't care so I've given up hope use to be good food when I was a kid! Pizza is greasy and poorly made(took an hour 1/2 one time to get a 3 topping pizza) Chicken breast sandwich was black and bun was extremely soggy. Also ordered chicken Alfredo.... the sauce tasted like sour prego(yes I know the flavor sadly) when I addressed this to our absent waitress who I maybe saw twice in the 2 hours I was there. And took over an hour to get our food when there was only one other guest in the store and say no take outs come through we where basically told tough luck no one offered to fix anything new or even take the Alfredo off the bill which only gotten two bites taken from it! Ordered take out one time and that was a horrible mistake didn't get the right pizzas they where ice cold and of course no one tried to help resolve the issue! Won't ever return! read more

as good as it gets for friendly northwoods dining. Super friendly family owned establishment. Hard to call it Italian specifically as they have a pretty good selection of American dishes. Our table had Memphis style dry ribs that were really good, as well as a piled high Ruben sandwich. We did have A calzone that was really tasty and the chicken baskets for the kids were huge! The selection of beers were better than average for microbrews, and the old wooden cash register was still in operation! This is the neat little gems that you find only by getting off the main highways and explore just a little bit. read more

Excellent service and friendly staff. Went for the lunch buffet and the cook was taking requests. How good is that.

Lots of people told us that we needed to come to the lunch buffet so we tried it. They offer a nice salad bar and good homemade soups but when it comes to the pizza there are a lot of other places in the Tomahawk area that offer a better pizza. The sauce they use is almost tasteless, lots of cheese on a Sysco type crust. Don't know how they can solve this problem but we watched a customer pull the stringy cheese apart with his hands from the serving platter and put the cheese back on the pizza. Need to do a better job of cutting pizza so pieces separate without cheese strings. read more

We visit Tomahawk at least a few times a year, and stopped in here this week for lunch. They offer a fully loaded lunch buffet here that we thoroughly enjoyed. Salad with many toppings, 3 kinds of soup with homemade bread, pizza with lots of different toppings, bread twists with butter and garlic offered with marinara sauce. The surprise was that wings and ribs were also offered; the wings were a bit hot for me, but the ribs were very good. A plate of bread twists brushed with butter, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar and a bowl of icing on the side was a sweet ending for this feast. All of this for the bargain price of $6.59 each...we drank water, so that save you some $$. As noted, the folks here are super friendly. Not health food, but good eats in one of my favorite small WI towns! read more

Calzones aren't huge but aren't tiny either; what they do have is great taste. Delivery time was exceptional as well however the phone order taker doesn't necessarily know what they do and don't have as the order I placed wasn't quite what I ended up getting. Also they automatically write the tip in ($2) on the tip line if you pay with a credit card so have cash if you wanna tip more. read more

I have to say, this place is special! With a ton of gluten free choices, this place has my heart. My daughter has an intolerance to gluten and it is very difficult to find good options while dining out-but Bambinos has a ton of choices including pizza, a gluten free fish fry, tons of soups and sandwiches, even pasta. And for those who don't need gluten free options-lots of awesome food to choose from. The pizza is great, the fish fry is my favorite in town and so many more items I want to try. The food is great, the service is great and the business does a lot to give back to the community-I am a fan and this is a must try if you are visiting or new to the area! read more

Went there for take out, they did not give me the cheese curds, Italian beef was poor ( more like pot roast chunky not thin sliced). Fries were cold burgers were just ok but soggy buns. Pizza was ok. read more

Ordered half pepperoni and sausage and half sausage and mushroom. I had the sausage and mushroom half. It was mediocre at best. They put so little sausage on it, I was hard pressed to even see any. Pizza was a great size, just had no flavor. Won't be ordering the sausage ever again. All in all, I would rate the pizza just below "OK". read more

My wife and I came in to try the buffet and were pleasantly surprised. Very nice salad bar and a good variety of pizza choices. The owner actually came out into the dining room and asked if anyone wanted anything in particular for the buffet since he was going to be making a couple more. Very friendly staff. read more
