Bananatree Laksa, one of the chef's recommendation
    Lika O.

Fast service and friendly staffs. The portion is good for its price. The Laksa's soup Was really nice but the rice noodles were a bit hard and got only 2 and half tubes of tofus. However, I would highly recommend you to go because of the very friendly service and atmosphere!

Really nice place - been here a couple of years ago and remember eating some yummy lamb thing. When I went a couple of weeks ago I tried out the soup. It was absolutely delicious with probably the best and freshest pork and prawn dumplings I've ever had. Yum. Took my baby niece here and that wasn't a problem at all - promptly gave us a baby seat and paper and crayons to play with (apparently they were for her) My sister's noodle soup was also good and the children's meal of chicken noodles and spring rolls was really tasty. whole lot plus drinks came to around £20 so it was a bargain too! highly recommend, lovely place, lovely staff. And they gave me a bowl of fresh chillies on the side gratis. Love it.

US visitor here trying one of the most popular traditional UK spots! This location is located in a little plaza/retail center. We parked in the Sainsbury's right next to the plaza and walked it. It was a Wednesday night at about 7 PM when we walked in, and we easily got a table for 4! The Nando's menu is extensive with prices between $9-$13. They're known for their Peri Peri sauces (have like 8) and of course...chicken! one of my favorite things about the place is the many veg and vegan options- sweet potato burger, a vegetable/curry rice bowl, vegan sides, etc. I ordered the sunset roll with the salted Peri Peri chips...and YUM! The portion was definitely smaller than something you'd get in the US (think of a large English muffin sandwich) and was filled with delicious grape jelly, warm cheddar, chicken thigh meat, and lettuce. The pero-naiyse sauce that we ordered separately (additional 60 cents) was delicious and a must-have. My favorite famous peri-peri sauce was probably the medium with garlic or the mild lemon pepper! Little tip: if you don't want to pay for peri-naiyse, mix some of the hot sauce with free request mayonnaise. Not the same, but close enough! Next time, I'll have to try the hummus. And yes, this location is zabiha/halal!

It's one of the few places in the area that isn't "carry out only" and the food is really fresh. I especially enjoyed the soups. We ordered Thom Kha Kai, and a glassy noodle soup, to start. Both soups were totally "mmmmm"-worthy. When my fiancee requested a beer, the snarky waiter directed him to the quickie mart next door. He was completely condescending about the whole thing when we asked "So, can we bring the beers in here?" His response "Why would i tell you about it if you couldn't?!" - I was starving and didn't want to risk having a bad food experience so I decided to pretend I was in an episode of Seinfeld and just ignore it. It was the right decision, because when our entrées arrived, they were quick, fresh, and delicious. I ordered the pad see ew, and my fiancée had the red curry. Both totally satisfying. I think I would order something else next time, but it was good. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone in the neighborhood, but don't make a special trip for it. It would be perfect for a casual dinner meet up with a few friends. And the idea of bringing your own bottle of wine, is actually quite a positive in my opinion.

I have to admit, we were skeptical - we were the only ones in the place. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed the food and the staff. Super accommodating, very friendly, and very helpful. The food is seriously good. We've been back about 4 times since then and we'll keep on going back. So far we've tried the veggie samosas, mix grill, chicken tikka masala, Karahi Bhuna Gosht, tarka daal, Karahi Paneer Tikka, Karahi Bindi, and the Karahi Bindi. I'm telling you, it's fantastic!
