Odd enough the tamarind sauce that I have tried here from the grocers ( Morrison's ) was a bit vinegary. Perhaps that's how it is made here. I also had tried the Chicken Tikka Masala. That was also different here in the England. It seems it is made with a sweet sauce. I've tried several Indian restaurants and the Tikka Masala sauce all seem to be based on a sweet sauce. In America it's not sweet. It has a tomato, green pepper, basil and cream flavor. The Garlic Naan was alight. I would had preferred it to be more warm and crispier. The service was good. So was the ambiance. Because the food here is differently prepared from what I am used to, I think a fair rating would be 3 out of 5 based on service, ambiance and portions. Portions were generous - we probably only needed half as much, but we couldn't resist all the flavors.
