Out Holton trumpet was purchased about 15 years ago for my oldest son and it was passed down to my daughter when she started playing. Over the years it has been used and abused. The tuning slides were stuck, brackets were broken and missing, dont even get me started about the smell, and the final straw was one of the valves was sticking. My daughter has a duet in the marching show this year and a beat up broken down trumpet just wasn't going to cut it. I contacted Davidson to see about getting it repaired. I figured it would cost me a small fortune to get it right. Davidson was very upfront with what it would cost and he also told me it would take a while to get it right. Even though it took what seemed like forever to get the parts in (because of the silver plating), it was worth the wait. What I got back was pretty much a brand new instrument.
