Yes, the doctor is hard to understand. But he did recommend that I get an ammonia test to see what the depakote was doing to my blood. After 20 years, no one else had thought to do that. Saved my brain, heart, liver and kidneys. I have a therapist now for a 'talk to' doctor as well, Ann Davies in Dalton. Makes things better all around. read more

This psychiatrist is the best I have ever been to because he genuinely cares. A lot and I mean a lot! Of people give this poor man bad reviews because he's not a pill pusher! He will give you what you need. He has been a therapist when he seen medicine wasn't enough. He even brought my husband in and save our marriage. When I needed a narcotic medicine and he wasn't able to prescribe it he recommended going to another psychiatrist. It's not about the money for this man. He's genuine and compassionate about his profession. If he ever is able to proscribe narcotic medicines he will be my psychiatrist for life! Love you doctor Bandukwala. You are one of the good ones! read more

IF I COULD GIVE HIM NO STARS I DEFINITELY WOULD Absolutely the worst adolescent psychiatrist. I received a call back yesterday 10/25/19 that I left 4 months ago and marked it urgent. The sad part we have seen him in the meantime to change medication as my daughter was having a horrible reaction. Thankfully I have found another dr for my daughter that is closer and helping her. Just scary to think if I didnt take action as a mom then I could have lost my daughter. Just being honest. I hate writing thos part however he is extremely hard to understand with his thick accent. Just want to give an honest review. Accent has nothing to do with how he is as a dr. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECCOMEND HIM!! read more

By far one of the worst Doctors I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I was stable on meds, he decided to change all of them. Said one of my diagnoses did not actually exist, not that I did not have it mind you, that the entire disorder did not exist. When I asked if his location was east or west of a location nearby his staff replied "It depends". His billing department double charged me, lied to medicare about it and 3 years later after being threatened with fraud charges they finally are issuing a rebate. read more

Nothing prepared me for being dismissed as a patient and not knowing WHY! A family member trying asking because I was so upset, and they were told it was because I was a No Show. Thats a complete LIE... I was living in Cartersville for a couple of years and drove to Rome for every appointment! I never ever rescheduled an appointment before. I never even was referred to another doctor and I am having a terrible time finding another who will treat my Anxiety. I have severe Anxiety in which I was put on Disability for back in 1997. Now I can't get medication for it and I am unstable. I will never know why I was just thrown out. It makes no sense to me. My daughter had just been murdered and I really needed medication. I was left with no medication and no doctor. This was something personal he had against me I feel and that is his problem although I'm stuck with this disorder and can't get treatment for it. They filled up a tray with nothing but steamed, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower. Then when I showed a staff my meal and said I needed some kind of protein they got angry with me and said your mom told us you're vegetarian. I've been pescatarian for most of my life. I said if this is all you're going to give me then I guess I'll have to eat what everyone else is. Not to mentioned I about starved myself for a week before admittance thanks to trying to come off my mood medication. I told the therapist I felt worse than when I came in and I was not used to meat. I even asked just to be fed white meat if they couldn't accommodate me. He said sure and nothing was done. Pork for dinner. I refused to eat that. Then I had heart burn and asked for something for it. The night nurse said I could have milk. I told her I was lactose intolerant. She said that was why I had gerd because I drink juice instead of milk. I drink dairy free milk but guess they've never heard of it. I posted a review elsewhere and pretty sure they had deleted it. I have emailed them and no response. It's 1990 anymore. Vegetarian food is not hard to come by. Heck vegan food isn't! And from what I've read other hospitals provide vegetarian meals. I know the one in Florida I stayed at 10 years ago did. This was only one horrifying thing they did to me. This place would give Asylum a run for its money. I have stayed in other places but never treated this way.
