I have to longing to my yelp account and write this again, be careful guys!! This place is ripping people off!! They will tell you something first and charge you a different amount for extra treatment after, no matter you want it or not, no matter you get treatment or not, they will charge you!! If you don't pay they give your bill to collections!! It happened on me already please don't be the next one. They already messed up my credit score unless I pay for a treatment which I never got!! I hope this message will help you guys. But at same time I know that most patients there are old and innocent and that's why they ripped off people. I spoke with front desk Mrs Barbara today, she is a very nice lady, she listened the whole situation from me and try to do the best to help me, but this hospital won't fix their mistakes and insist to charge me for a treatment which I never got. She told me she is doing her job and there is nothing else more that she can do. This place sucks for real, I told her a great example that imagine you are coming to my store to shop, I told you 400$ first then charge you 800 later. I went to Ga Bone & Joint in January of 2023 with a pain in my shoulder that started in December 2022. After X-Rays and an MRI I found out that I had two bone spurs on my left Acromion bone. A steroid injection from Dr. Wall cured me (for 48 hrs). Dr. Wall said that he wanted to go into my shoulder and clean up the spurs and to look around. He found that i had several issues and small slap tear which he repaired. Today I am 8 days post opp and feel 100% better thanks to Dr. Wall and his team. Today at my post op visit I hugged his neck and thanked him for helping me, I am hurting no more. I also met Jessica Lay (NP-C) she had the best bed side manners I have ever seen from anyone in the medical field, she took the time to explain everything to me and answered ALL my questions, I tip my hat to her :) The entire staff was great, the place is always lite, bright and clean.... Today I called to make an appointment with a doctor at Georgia Bone and Joint in Cartersville, Ga. After waiting 30 minutes of hearing that I was caller number 5, then 4, 3, 2, 1 I finally asked to speak to the manager about my horrible experience trying to make an appointment with one of these doctors. This was like calling a utility company or credit card company and actually you get better service with them. This is totally disrespectful to a new patient trying to make an appointment and completely unprofessional. So if you want to be treated like a number instead of a real person definitely call here. I went for a review of my back issues and was told by the PA I needed an MRI the doctor said just take an X-ray...the X-ray showed nothing. He said I had periformis muscle syndrome and the I would need surgery to cut the muscle.. Two second opinions from other doctors said this was Crazy..Second opinion showed I had 4 bulging discs and two compression fractures. They also told me if I did have periformis muscle syndrome it was totally foolish to cut the muscle. I ended up having the surgery elsewhere. Glad I did. The folks at Georgia Bone & Joint really do care about your health. I dealt with sciatic for over a year, and it took a turn for the worst when my herniated disc blew out on me. Dr. Cha took the time to preform a discectomy on a blown L4-5 disc on Valentines Day!! It's been a little over my six weeks since my surgery, and I feel AMAZING!! I am in ZERO PAIN. I really hate to even write a review but in this case I have too. I went to this clinic because I had a referral from a neurologist that said the new MRI showed new problems. This clinic compared the old one 2 years with the new one but only took the time to read the one new thing. I'm taking more time here than the MRI report people took. It was copy paste all but one line that was added. This doctor didn't even question that. Then he acted as if there was nothing new wrong and said he was going to do an injection! A facet So then to top that off he threw me back to the Hospital for them to do it. I could hear him in other rooms, He had a repetitive dialog. "OK where does it hurt" I understand saving time but Copy Paste has taken over everywhere. He might as well record a Tape with his form questions. Let the patient push a button after they waste their breath answering each routine question. I asked for a copy of both reports. Copy Paste all, but one line in the middle of the report. WORD FOR WORD exact. Did your teacher let you copy your reports word for word? Out of any book encyclopedia, etc? I don't think mine ever did. What a poor chance we have at seeing any concern for our health as we go on dying for some relief. The entire health industry is nothing but totally money driven. The report even though it was copy past had a whole paragraph for each section, yet that is simply old stuff. Nothing to see here people Move on. read more
