Oh my Roxy McLovins, she is the bestest little girl and ranks right up there with My Bailey and Mr. Gajo and Cricket Crickles. Her life has been so full of LOVE from everyone who has met this sweet girl, but she has ALWAYS been my 2nd heartbeat. She lived for her ball, murdering the next squeaker, her next yummy meal, snack, and her lovings from us. She has lived a great life, and the last show of love I can give her in return is a peaceful send-off. I believe in heaven for our fur babies. I believe they have a soul just like we do. Ecclesiastes 3:14, which says, "I know that whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever." Revelation 5:13 states, "And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth... heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne." Job 12:10: "In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind." The same God who designed her wagging tail and her 13ish years of loyalty is the one who promises to make all things new. I find a deep sense of peace knowing that our "labor of love" is a reflection of the mercy God has for all His creatures. Absolutely horrific experience, I have a difficult cat so he has to be sedated some, I take him in for his wellness exam & I arrive to pick him up & no doctor bothered to come out to tell us anything about his check up, no body told us anything, when we got him in the car he was soaked & covered in urine & feces. so covered & soaked he had been sitting in it for awhile so when we got him home we had to put an already traumatized cat into a bath & get him washed in cat shampoo & water which traumatized him even more-I am so disgusted that someone would treat an animal this way what the hell?! that Situation my animal was in could make him very sick & then what! i will never ever take my babies there again -horrible horrible customer service -still have no idea how the check up went & if my cat is ok Worst experience ever read more

I've waited a while to give my review because we have been so upset over the loss over losing our Havanese on December 17. I know all people think this, but he was such a special dog and we miss him so much. We took him in one Tuesday afternoon because he was breathing/gagging like he couldn't get a good breath. Dr. Butler looked him over and couldn't come up with anything but said he had a slight heart murmur and told us just to watch him overnight and see what happened. He had a terrible night, hardly able to get a breath and we took him back in the next morning and as they picked him up to take him back to the exam room, blood just came flowing out of his mouth and he died right there. When we back to see Dr. Butler that night and he said he just honestly couldn't explain it. But after ME doing a lot of research i think he had congestive heart failure that had never been diagnosed. I just don't think on that Tuesday night he was given a thorough exam. It was late in the day and we were in and out of there in 15 minutes. Like I said we miss him so much. We had him for 11.5 years and it was so sudden and unexpected. However, they were very compassionate when he died and let us bring him home to bury him. read more

I have a senior dog who can't be around men or other animals. The staff here has always accommodated me. It's a stressful job but you'd never know it based on the demeanor of the folks that work here. Dr Sloan is fantastic. They are quick and to the point, reassuring, and friendly. This is now owned by a corporation and they do not care about your pet baby or you. It's all about dollars which is sad for us, that have been going there for 15 years or more. The doctors are cold and the attendants lie. We had one of the attendants lie to the doctor. After she told us there was no charge for a service. Then when we went to check out we were charged for it. When we asked to speak with the attendant we were told the doctor spoke with her and she didn't say that to us. So we were told we could leave and not pay the bill. They would turn it over to their attorney or we could pay the bill. That was our the two options. This was a sad way to end a more than 15 year relationship. Of course we paid but will not recommend or go back to Banfield Alsbury. read more

JJ was seriously so helpful w out even having to ask for help. I brought my two big dogs and had my toddler w me and I wasn't sure how I was going to get everyone inside. JJ kindly offered to handle the dogs while I grabbed the baby. She answered all my questions and really helped me calm down a little bc the situation was very chaotic for me. I'm so thankful for her help and just being an overall supportive and kind person. The world needs more JJ's! Front desk lady was super kind and so was the doctor. This Banfield is the most amazing team I've experienced. I recommend all Banfields, because no matter which one I have been, they are always wonderful! They must go through a training that has the staff treat all dogs as if it were their own... But this staff takes it to a higher level. I love ALL of their hearts, kindness and compassion. They use to be wonderfu! I had taken my pets there for over 12 years, recently my senior dog was dying and they wouldn't make an effort to get her until the next day, they suggested I take her another Banfield 40 minutes away in Mansfield where she died. That is terrible!! Because of that I will not go there again! Banfield Mansfield was so sweet and compassionate, they made every effort to squeeze me in! I'm so thankful for them! read more

Honestly I don't care what they call this place Dr. Burch and his team are AMAZING! Anyone with a negative thing to say about the doctors are ummmmm complete morons ! Yeah the place is busy but I believe the heart of the place is what matters. You could have a wait getting your dog .. O WELL .. maybe because so many people love them. Our dog left the care of this facility worse than what he went in. Poor communication was apologized by staff for the negligence of 'doc' Beall. Medical procedures were not even done for the well being of my pet and were charged twice for the dog to receive proper care! Pitiful excuse for emergency animal care. Horrible! I brought my pet in almost knowing for sure the cause of the issue my pet was having based on past experience. Instead of listening, they tried to load him up on $300 dollars of meds and charge me for $200 "blood test". NEVER GO HERE! They are rude, and inadequate at best! Went to a different vet who listened, and guess what, they were able to address the real issue(that I told this place) not treat symptoms with unneeded medication and expensive blood tests! read more

I'm so frustrated with this vets office. I loved them when it was Alsbury Animal Hospital. We had the best experiences and so did our animals. Never have my dogs been aggressive until they've been here. Dr. Camp is ahhhmmazing and honestly hate that he won't be seeing my dogs anymore but the pricing and my lord the snails pace service is enough for me to take my business elsewhere. I've been in the parking lot for now almost an hour trying to pick my baby up. read more

Love DR Burch but the corporate takeover of this place negates the value of a great veterinarian,so today was my last effort to keep my business with this corporate business with shareholders and a office manager calling the shots and not the Doctor I'm too old to be forced into doing business without the doctor not running the show ,at every chance the office staff tries to up charge and find out how to max out your bill what was $214 to bring a cat in now is twice the price and to add insult to injury I can't get back in for weeks with chronic Heath issues once I fell for the plan deal , so now I will take my 2 dogs and several cats elsewhere,I really felt like I should have been treated like a rewards type customer with all the animals I brought in ,not to mention the occasional rescue we would sponsor, can wait for my Dr there to end his contract so I can Find him somewhere else in the county . All this and I can say I know how a medical practice is supposed to be run as is I sit in on board meeting at my family's owned plastic surgery medical practice and the way management is suppose to treat customers is night and day apart . I just want everyone to know the amazing experience I have had with the Banfield hospital in Burleson. Typically I use a private vet. But this place is literally right behind my house so I thought I would try it out. I signed up for their health plan for my puppy and my adult dog. Their staff has been nothing but absolutely amazing and they go above and beyond all expectations! They are professional and helpful even with issues that you are not there for or if you have questions about one of your other animals they are happy to help you. I even had one of the employees take me into the store to show me a calming collar that I should get for my dog and she gave me a ton of tips on how to help with my dogs anxiety. I feel like I got the Care and service of a small town hospital but in a large town environment. They have won me for life! read more

Do not use them if you want personalized, heartfelt, caring people. Banfield is all about the numbers and money not caring about your pets. Today was the last straw. I've had a couple of bad experiences but chalked it up to bad days as I've been there for 13 years. However, they tell you one thing on the phone and another in person. They pretty much make you get their pet wellness plan because "it's cheaper". It's very costly and you have to come in several times to get everything done that is necessary. Some of the techs are very personable, others not so. They change their story when you get there and do more than necessary. There's only a handful of staff there that was originally there before they sold to banfield. Seems more and more techs are leaving as I rarely see anyone more than once or twice. I'm very disappointed, frustrated and sad at the way they treated me. I wouldn't go back there even if my dog was on her deathbed! Don't waste your time or money there. I have been going to this vet clinic since 2015 or so for both of my pets. Dr. Birch and Camp are both amazing. Both are very attentive and knowledgeable. I was sad when they joined the banfield group as I don't care for them but the staff at this office haven't changed and thats why I will continue to use them. Also one of my pets had a chronic issue that they assisted in treating and didn't just dismiss it. There is cheaper places for surgeries though so if its not emergent I would shop around for that but vet care is exceptional. read more
