BELOW ZERO. My cat is traumatized. He went in for a dental cleaning and comprehensive. He came home covered in his urine and cat feces that was stuck to his hair and I had to pull/scrape it off. His demeanor has changed to being frightened and now his sister is snaring at him because she doesn't recognize him. They left him in his bag from 8:45 am to the end most likely until I picked him up at 4:45 pm !!!!!!! I have never had a bad experience with Banfield and always recommended them to whoever I met. Not anymore. This is the second time with Weathorford. First my dog which I specially said no shots for because she has one lung. I called three times to inform them, left a note at the front desk to give to the technician. Yet still they gave her a shot!!!! I thought it was the front desk that wasn't attentive. Gave them another chance and this is what happens. If you care about your pet, DO NOT GO TO WEATHERFORD!!!! MANAGEMENT, you better be ready. I'm not letting this go. Imagine your child went through this!!!!!! Animal endangerment and abuse. And you call yourselves a veterinary clinic!!!!!! It's a torture chamber for animals!!!!!!! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. read more

My experience with this office have been mixed. It does have extremely long wait time in the waiting room but my biggest complaint is their changes in pricing consistently. My 8 pound dog was getting an allergy injection that was $72 the last time I took her in. Today I had to pay $136 for the exact same injection because they forced me to pay for vet tech to weigh her and listen to her heart! It was not time for her annual assessment. She just saw the veterinary last month for a complete annual physical. So if you are looking for any type of preventative maintenance or allergies maintenance , I advise you to stay clear of this clinic because who can afford to pay $140 a month for an allergy shot. heavens knows how much it would be if you pet weighs more than 7 pounds!! Events a person, I don't have to pay for a PA or a physician to give me a complete assessment every month to get my allergy shot or allergy medication. The second issue I have with this clinic is that every time I call for an appointment they want me to drop my dog at 8 in the morning and pick them up after 330 pm. Why on earth would I want my pet locked in a kennel in a strange place all day for an allergy or rabies shot? If you refuse that they want to take them into the back office without to assess them. Unreal...If you have unlimited funds and don't mind the prices of things changing and you think being removed from knowing exactly what is going on which you pet, maybe you'll enjoy this otherwise I would advise to go elsewhere. read more

Jennifer at the Banfield located within Petsmart is by FAR the most knowledgeable and customer service oriented vet professional I have ever come in contact with. Me and my significant other had a bunch of questions regarding getting two older pets with no vet records added to one of our existing dog plans. Like many of us, I am in the business of saving money where I can, and in most cases in order to do that you have to be thorough in your questioning to find hidden fees and/or coverage limitations. Jennifer not only answered every question I had using her experience and 3D models to paint a picture of what each procedure looks likes, she also gave excellent detail about the coverage differences in order to find the best option for little Rose AND for my wallet. I have taken my 2 labs to banfield for the past 9 years. I've always been pleased with their service. I've even left a good review for them in the past. But after my 9 year old dog recently saw them and after they told us he was healthy and lied about it, I'm singing a different tune. Our dog came down sick late last year. We believed it to be a virus but when it didn't improve after 2 weeks we made an appointment with banfield. They told us his lab work was normal and he had allergies but just in case they gave us an antibiotic. He died 19 days later. We had taken him to the animal ER 10 days after his appointment and his blood work showed he was very anemic and his platelets very low. His chest X-ray showed he had a fungal infection in his lungs. We attempted to start antifungal medications but it was too late. I went back to banfield to get a copy of his blood work and rather of being normal, as we were told, it showed he was anemic and his platelet count low. So I calmly reached out to their manager and their director of medicine. After 3 weeks they got back to me. I told them I was pretty upset and that I held them responsible for his death and I wanted out of the banfield contract for both pets. They told me I wouldn't get charged for the pet who had died, but they couldn't garauntee for my other lab. Sure enough, I'm charged like I still have both members of my family 3 weeks after talking to them. I've also reached out to their corporate office both my email and phone, and they either ghosted me or just told me to speak to the manager. I'm considering legal pursuit at this point. Don't take your pet to banfield. They absolutely do not care about your pet or you. They are understaffed, they don't do the necessary work up needed on your pet. If your pet has anything wrong with it, you'll be told they are normal when they're knocking on deaths door and could maybe have been saved if quick action had taken place. read more

I have been going to this location since '06. The staff is very caring and compassionate. My pets are treated like family. The wellness plans help me take better care of my pets, by allowing me to spread the cost of care over twelve months. I recommend this location to anyone. read more

We took our dogs to the Banfield Pet Hospital in Burleson. One of the dogs was a recent shelter adoption. It looks like they both have kennel cough. The Vet, Dr. Phinney, and his tech, Claire, were both fabulous! I felt like they genuinely cared. They took their time with the examinations. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone needing a Veterinarian. read more

Their puppy plan might sound good & it is a great deal financially - but the techs do not know how to handle pets! They - including the vets have no compassion and treat your pet like a number. I guess the old saying, you get what you pay for, definitely is the case here!!! read more

She is so rude every time that I refuse to go back there even though I like Dr. Hayden and Dr. Gibson(sp?). It's taken me some time to post this. But the staff, vet and the wonderful vet tech made a decision I had to make so bearable. So I am rewriting this to not include what I went through with another veterinarian place. The end result is my girl appeared to have had a stroke and after spending close to $8K I couldn't bear putting her through a MRI in order to diagnose and where they would have to further sedate her. After 5 days leaving one place, she slowly declined to unable to walk, wetting and pooping on herself, and she stopped eating for the duration of illness. I had my girl euthanized. She had blood in her urine and was dying. My heart and trust is forever changed. But the nice workers helped me through this unbearable decision. I still cry talking about her and it's been over 5 months and I'll never get over how her life ended. Banfield hospital made it bearable. The workers are amazing, even when I came in to collect her ashes. God bless each and every one of you. read more

We have two dogs on plans through Banfield. Short of a few minor issues with front desk employees, we have had no issues with them. Our favorite vet unfortunately transferred to the Fort Worth location but the vet we have had the last few times has been great too. read more

just want everyone to know the amazing experience I have had with the Banfield hospital in Burleson. Typically I use a private vet. But this place is literally right behind my house so I thought I would try it out. I signed up for their health plan for my puppy and my adult dog. Their staff has been nothing but absolutely amazing and they go above and beyond all expectations! They are professional and helpful even with issues that you are not there for or if you have questions about one of your other animals they are happy to help you. I even had one of the employees take me into the store to show me a calming collar that I should get for my dog and she gave me a ton of tips on how to help with my dogs anxiety. I feel like I got the Care and service of a small town hospital but in a large town environment. They have won me for life! read more

Malpractice... Our dog went in for vomiting and not eating, she was diagnosed with dental and gum disease. Only a small note about abdominal disease in the examination report. No consultation was given about her firm abdomen. She was given antibiotics for the dental and gum disease. She was taken back the next day with no change and was sent home with tablets to prevent vomiting. No change in two days so we took her to another vet and found she had Pyometra and could have passed away very soon if left untreated. If we had stayed with Banfield she would have passed away. read more
