He was status-quo for quite a while and then one day the regular vet told me there was a change and one eye was hemorrhaging. I was lucky enough to get an appt with Dr. Paulson the very next day. But, then Dr. Paulson said it was starting to resolve and no real issue and didn't really know what more to do but gave him non-steroid eye drops (that really stung and made his eye squint for about 2-3 min afterwards) but they didn't seem to do anything at all. Then, about a week later his his other eye was red, looked swollen and filled with blood. The regular vet said now both eyes were hemorrhaging. Said she called Dr. P and he said he didn't need to see him. I consulted with another vet who is a personal friend of mine. She didn't say anything negative about Dr. P but that she refers her pts to another eye doctor in town. I sent the other eye doctor all of the required documents and they obtained the rest of the records from Dr. P and agreed to see him. Dr. P and his staff are always friendly but at the end of the day, if you can't see my cat when there is a significant change in his eyes and you're the eye doctor than I have an issue with that.
