For Mother's Day this year, I needed three high-end bouquets to be delivered across Ken Caryl, Littleton, and Centennial. Since they were for my Mom, my Mother-in-Law, and my Sister-in-law, the pressure was on to find something unique, elegant, and professional (while still being affordable). With a limited budget, I started researching online flower delivery websites, weighing the cost/benefit of 1-800-Flowers, FTD, Proflowers, FromYouFlowers, Teleflora + all the coupon codes they offer vs. actual reviews/pictures of each bouquet delivered in their reviews. There were strong inconsistencies between the stock photo and the actual deliverables which led me to seek out a local florist with quality and consistent product. After heavy research, Banister's Flowers shined as consistently beautiful, fresh, and unique from their Yelp reviews (and not just the company's stock photos on their website). I also noticed that their website is continuously updated, and the bouquets that are pictured are constantly changing. This is refreshing because it meant that the flowers were seasonal, and that the artistry behind each piece would be genuine (unlike your typical boring bouquets that always looked the same on their competitor's sites). I ordered three bouquets, five days in advance (due to the holiday), and requested the flowers to be delivered a day before Mother's Day. All three bouquets cost under $100 each (plus a small delivery fee determined by zip code) and arrived promptly before 9:30AM. My Mother-in-law was in tears over the beauty of her bouquet. That's a big deal for me! I've spent 15 years in the service industry, have had my fair share of people over-promising and under-delivering, and decidedly have sought out to try and support the most quality local products and businesses that I can find.
