Beautiful flowers, but I wish I'd experienced the customer service so many other reviewers have. I stopped in to confirm the flowers for a funeral the next day, and when I got to the counter, I waited while the woman there was working on something on her computer. This is more than fine: I've worked in retail and know what it's like when you need to finish something. However, I wish she'd told me she'd be right with me. Instead, I waited while wondering if I had blended in with the flowers and bushes a la Sean Spicer. A man then came up and helped me and in neither of them was there a smile or any real interest in what I needed. The man couldn't find my order, so we walked back to the work area. When he asked if either of the women there knew the name, one curtly said, No! and the man rolled his eyes. To her credit, once she saw me, she softened, but I wasn't feeling all that great about this place, plus I wasn't feeling great in general, because I'd been helping set up for the funeral. The two women looked through the orders and said they had my order but that it was for Thursday, the day after the funeral. I understandably was worried. They said they'd have the florist who was working on it contact me. When he did, he said, in a snarky tone, "I hear you were having a bit of anxiety," and I said, just as not nicely, "I wouldn't call it that, but I am concerned." He then told me, in a haughty tone, that he'd just delivered the flowers to the church, and Thursday was the day he'd be picking everything up. So. Ok. Mistakes happen. The flowers were beautiful. However. This staff needs to work out their internal dysfunctions (it was clear the people in the shop had thrown me under the bus) and take a few customer service courses. Or maybe find their joy, as Oprah might say. Yes, they need to FIND THEIR JOY (LOL). Or, you know, maybe another job. After an unpleasant customer service experience with another shop in the same strip mall, I had to wonder if all the employees of each store get together once a month and figure out ways to make customers feel unwelcome. Maybe they have a monthly contest to see who can provide the worst service? If so, this and the other place are strong contenders. Congratulations! Not a place I'd use again, but, damn, those flowers were beautiful. read more

We have gotten several "fake" planter gardens for our vases in front of our house and they have always turned out beatifically. It makes such a big difference having silk flowers vs the other crappy fake flowers. I was in a pickle and needed specific flowers within a few hours of an event. I called King Soopers and they didn't have the kind I needed so I tried Happy Canyon because of it's proximity to work. I called them on my lunch break and four hours later they had them all ready waiting for me. The staff was nice but you can tell by the clientele and attitude of this place that it's higher end. The guy helping me even told me that the flowers cost more there than compared to the supermarket. If you have money to burn, I'm sure they would be great. I went in here to get some boutonnieres and a small corsage for a family picture. I specifically told the woman that I needed something fairly quickly and I didn't want to break the bank as it was for a photo and would only be worn for 20 minutes or so. Boutonnieres were $13 each--ok, not bad. But the corsage (for a FOUR year old) was $40. It was tiny, about 1 1/2 inches long. For forty bucks. I told the woman that was exorbitant given the size and amount of flowers. She basically shrugged and said "tough luck". I am willing to pay money for nice things, but this was over the top and the price was way out of proportion to what they made. I won't be back.
