You do have to go inside and ask for the key which only makes me cringe at the very idea touching one but theirs is the piece of metal that can actually be sanitized and was extremely clean and I have no fear taking it from their hands. While not particularly convenient to the highway on which I was traveling, it has easy in/out access from the main drag in FG, and gauging from the pileup of cars there, it's likely an oasis in the midst of a veritable oil desert. The service here was decently prompt and friendly, but most important they had gas. For my car. Something that the inaccurately-named Gaston did not. There is a mart here if you need sundries and provisions, but I have to say I didn't pay much attention as instead I sat in my car thanking the fuel-station fates for getting me here as I was running on fumes. _______ *Empty

I was running later than I wanted to a play in deep Forest Grove. My car needed gas but I just did…read morenot have time to stop if I wanted to get to the play on time. I remembered that there was a gas station nearby that was inexpensive. After the play was finished I figured I would just head to the local Fred Meyer, since I needed some things from the store and usually their gas prices are pretty reasonably low, sometimes the lowest. I came across the Space Age which is the cheap gas station I was remembering. The gas was ten cents cheaper at the Space Age versus the Fred Meyer but I paid the price since the gas pumps scream commercials at you while you pump. That seemed very ridiculous and over the top, especially at 10pm.
