We really wanted to like this location. We visited twice for our newborn check up and a weight check. The scheduling process seemed very unorganized, they couldn't find our chart, rescheduled on us, and then had us wait with our newborn in office for over an hour after our scheduled appointment time after seemingly forgetting about us. They almost forgot to do the required newborn testing until we brought it up as the dr was walking out. It's a shame because the facilities are new and very nice. read more

Jessica at the blood draw desk is absolutely oblivious to her surroundings. There are two girls there that have an EXTREME lack of professionalism or respect for people's time. It's a game to them to make people wait and IMO it's time theft as well as the worst possible customer service imaginable. Go somewhere else if you care about your time or being respected in any way. Playing games with customers time and health is disgusting and these girls should be shamed of themselves. Hopefully banners management will start paying attention to the lack of supervision on that side of the building and start rebuilding a stronger customer service based mentality with their staff. I'll add that I would have added the other employees name but her name badge was conveniently covered by charms so it was unreadable. Do not schedule with Dr Hadil Owaynat she is never there and Banner just keeps rescheduling. I made an appointment in February for a March appointment, they rescheduled me to April then that got rescheduled to May and now again they called to reschedule to June. Extremely disappointed with Dr Watkins and shame on Banner for allowing this to go on. Not sure why but I can't get him to return a email or phone call. I've written several emails with pertinent questions via their website with no response from Dr Watkins. I've also called and left several messages with the call center again with no call back from Dr Watkins. I recently called regarding a refill on a prescription I had left several messages with no response. My latest negative experience with Dr Watkins has been. I had a colonoscopy test done mid July, I still haven't received the results from Dr Watkins. Dr Watkins drops the ball when it comes to patient services no excuse. Looks like its time to find another health care provider someone who can return an email or phone call. My teenage daughter was put with Dr. Kosuru last minute when her regular Dr was unavailable. He was condescending and even questioned prescriptions carefully chosen by his own colleague. She went in for insurance mandated referrals and he was skeptical about why she would see a dermatologist or want a follow up with her surgeon. What the heck? Not impressed with their check-in process. Two registrants at the desk, but only one person checking patients in. No acknowledgment after five minutes of standing in front of the window. My previous doctor told me on my last visit that she was only working with Medicare patients in the future, so this was our last appointment. The previous practice would change your primary care doctor without telling you. A good friend recommended Dr. Beno Sikand, for all the help she has given him, so two weeks ago I sent up a new patient visit. I receive a call the day prior to the appointment that Dr. Sikand is not accepting new patients, so I need to call and schedule with another doctor. Instead of letting me know that she was not accepting patience when I first called two weeks ago, they waited until the day before to transfer me to another doctor. This is one of the best I've been to. I have been a patient for 4 years and have seen Doctor Norman Grosbach, MD and PA Jeffery Smolin who are both PUTSTANDIN!!!. Every one from Check in, Nurses, Aids and the techs that do the x-rays are absolutely great. This is one of the times I wish I could do 5 Stars plus a couple. Literally the worst. I went here when I moved to AZ, so my records from my previous PCP were sent here. I did not feel cared about or listened to by the doctor I saw, so I left the practice. I came in today to get a copy of my vaccination records, I called yesterday to inquire and the woman told me to come in. It took FIFTY minutes. I asked for an update at thirty, and she said just a few more minutes. I could've left and come back to pick them up. Communication is sorely lacking here. read more

This office is so unprofessional. I called to book an appointment and they schedule me for a month later; I showed up for my appointment only for them to tell that apparently whoever scheduled my appointment didn't submit it. After that we had to reschedule for a month later, and this time when I was walking in 15 minutes before my appointment they told me, we don't know if your insurance will cover this visit. So they didn't even check beforehand if my insurance will cover my visit although I have provided all my information ahead of time. The office manager told me you can still be seen but we don't know if your insurance will cover it. So they want me to be seen by a PA-C who will probably send me a $500 bill because the office workers are incompetent, and they don't even check if someone's insurance will cover their visit like other places do. read more

Dr. Gomez Is Great For Kids! We originally had our mindset on a different doctor here but when we went to make an appointment she was not available so we took the referral of the girl on the phone and decided to try Dr. Gomez out. We had watched the videos online where they introduce themselves to us and his video definitely does not do him justice. We find Dr. Gomez to be an extremely friendly and knowledgeable pediatrician. He has been great with our son and always answers our questions and isn't in a hurry trying to get us out of the office. I would definitely recommend Dr. Gomez to anyone with children. read more

I've been here twice now because one of my doctors works out of here part time and it always happens to be when my schedule allows! The man working the front check-in desk is literally BEYOND friendly. This isn't always the case at medical practices and I really really love it! I wish that I knew his name but he checks in patients for Dr. Mourad and deserves some major customer service kudos! This facility is always super clean - like I could eat off of the bathroom floor clean. Parking is SUPER easy, there is plenty of it, and right next to the entrance. I don't mind making the extra drive to come out to this nice facility versus dealing with Midtown Phoenix craziness! :) Especially for one of the best docs around! read more

Awful and useless experience! Had to wait three weeks for the appointment. Doctor was dressed inappropriately and did not seem to have much knowledge on a common female issue. Had a bunch of tests ordered, including extremely unuseful ones. Blood drawing took many times and left horrible bruises. It's been two weeks and my test results are still not back yet! Usually only takes a day for this kind of result to come back. Doctor gave up without even waiting to see results and just referred me to another doctor. Horrible waste of time and money, just got much worse while waiting. Definitely do not recommend this awful place. read more

I had to call and speak sternly with two separate people to get an acknowledgement that I had already paid (yes, I had the invoice). We tried this place because another twin mom had nothing but great things to say about dr Nielsen. I have to say she was very nice at all three appts. Unfortunately everything else is a mess. The office is hot and humid, the office staff isn't friendly, and they just did not impress us at all. They took two hours at our first appt for both the babies blood draws and one lady had to prick my son three times and 10 days later we get a call they didn't get enough blood (they called right after we left their office like they didn't check the charts while we were there) so sadly we had to go back. Well my husband took him and they were 35min late and my husband heard "well it's only a blood draw". Their mistake and made them wait in the lobby when they should have been in the back, he's a newborn baby. He ended up leaving and we will be looking elsewhere to care for our babies. read more

I have been a patient in the Gilbert AZ clinic since its inception. In the past, I was always pleased with the services and the care. However, things have certainly deteriorated since July 2021. I was at an emergency room on June 23, 2021 and was told to follow up with my primary care. I phoned the Gilbert office and informed the staff that I would like to be seen by the PCP I have been seeing since the beginning. I was told someone would return my phone call in the next day or two. When I did not receive a phone call 6 days later, I again phoned the clinic and explained the situation and was told that someone would return my phone call in another day or two. I still did not receive a return phone call 3-5 days later and phoned the clinic again. This time I asked if I could please just schedule with the PCP and was scheduled for today (July 29,2021 at 4:00 PM. I was told it would be a tele-health appointment and I requested if it could please be converted to an in-person appointment and was told it would need to be approved by the physician's Medical Assistant. I explained that I was a health care professional who treats children and adolescents and any appointments from 3:00 PM are in demand with school children. I request that they inform me as soon as they are able because if it cannot be approved as an in-person appointment, I would open those appointment slots up for children who are returning to school this week. I never heard back from anyone but received text messages about my appointment today at 4:00 PM. Never once did any of the text messages inform me that it was to be telehealth. As a result, I was not able to provide care to my patients because the time period was blocked for my own appointment. I phoned the clinic and was told there was nothing they could do as it was only a tele-health appointment. I can assure you I would never deliver this level of care (or lack thereof) to my patients and their families. I cannot articulate how unacceptable this situation is read more

First time coming here and making the appointment was super easy. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The facility it really nice. There's a woman at the front who helps take your temperature and guides you where to go. I saw Dr. Grosbach. He was pleasant and took his time with me. I did my blood work in the same building and once my results were in, Dr. Grosbach messaged me with my results. I like that you can get your records and results online, as well as message the doctor. Anyway, he told me what I needed to do and answered all my questions in a very timely mannered through online messaging. So far, I am pleased with my visit and doctor. read more

Great staff, terrible billing system. Banner runs separate subcontractors for practically everything you get. Be prepared for separate bills from the nurses, the doctors, the janitor, the people who got you a sandwich, the person who asked if you felt ill? (obviously), and anyone who may enter your room for whatever reason. As someone in business I ask myself, how can I get in business here, charge whatever I want since medical service charges are so inflated and not regulated. I called and got an itemized bill.... You should hear the stutter when you ask them to explain how it's possible that they charged you $90 for a warm used up blanket. Beware of these crooks. read more

I'm not sure what the deal is with this location and office but EVERY time I call or visit over the last 12 months there computer systems are down. When you call the office you are on hold for 15+ minutes, then you get someone who takes a message to have someone call you back. I called on 12/11/17 at 9:27am and as of today, 1/8/18 STILL have not received a call back. I get here for appt and I'm told that the computer systems are down, yet AGAIN. Banner, I think it may be time to upgrade your IT or go back to paper files. This is making me seriously look for new doctors. read more

I really have to show appreciation because I was seen even though I showed up a little late for my appointment. My provider was a very competent woman who had good advice. She was thorough & answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. The office was extremely clean, smelled nice & the staff seemed friendly, even noticeable in the way they warmly greeted one another. Little Shop of Horrors I had an appointment with Dr. Sikand in Gilbert. She told me she would send new prescriptions to my pharmacy either that day or no later than 09.05.2019. I patiently waited and then called my pharmacy on 09.06.2019 in the morning. I was told that No Prescriptions had been sent to them. I called Banner in Gilbert, I told them I needed my prescriptions sent to the pharmacy. I was told they would not send the prescriptions to the pharmacy because Dr. Sikand was not in the office. I told them of my conversation with Sikand. They did not care and would not send the prescriptions to the pharmacy. I told them I was now out of two medications, they said they would tell the Dr. on call and let them know. Later on, 09.06.2019 I got a call from my pharmacy telling me the one of the meds they received a script for was for a Wrong Medication. I called Banner in Gilbert and told them the script was for the incorrect medication and I needed the correct medication. I was told they would send over the correct prescription, later Banner called me back and told me the incorrect medication was cancelled. I wanted to know if the correct script was sent. The person talking to me a Nurse Practitioner would not tell me if the correct script was sent. She kept telling me to call the pharmacy, call the pharmacy then she hung up on me. I called the pharmacy only to be told the pharmacy did not have a Prescription for correct medication again. The Banner office closed and I called the doctor on call for that night, 09.06.2019. The doctor on call told me she would not help me because I was Dr. Sikand's patient and I needed to talk to her on Monday. She then stated "it sounds like you just want to vent." She then told me to file a complaint with management then hung up on me. On 09.07.2019, I called Banner first thing in the morning. They again insisted the script was sent. I told them the pharmacy states otherwise. The person at Banner told me she would send a note telling the staff the prescription needed to be RESENT. She then took my phone number so the doctor on call could call me to confirm what I needed. I called my pharmacy again this time the pharmacy told me they had NO prescription for the medication I needed. In short, Banner people did not do what they were supposed to do. When they did send a prescription to the pharmacy the prescription was totally incorrect, and they still have not sent the correct one in. This is malpractice read more

First, the location on the map is completely wrong. It is on Gilbert and Warner right by life time fitness. I had to switch doctors because my old doctor didn't accept my new insurance carrier. I found this place and they verified all my information when booking the appointment for me. I came in 30 minutes early to fill out my paperwork since I'm a new patient. After the nurse calling me in, taking my vitals, and seating me for the doctor to come in, they decide to call me back to the reception to let me know that they don't accept my insurance. First of all, why would you even book the appointment and schedule me in then? Second of all, why isn't your staff 100&% sure before even scheduling these appointments. I wasted an hour of my morning, was late for work and now have to do research to find another doctor. Note to staff, be 100% sure before even booking appointments and wasting our time. read more

The care I received at banner was excellent I feel that have a great medical staff. The one is for billing practices, and attitude and behaviors of employees associated with billing and the switch board. I have been treated in an abusive manner and such because I want a statement showing where the money I paid as a co pay went. I asked to meet someone get a print out and have someone explain it to me. I was told there is no one and no place that does that. When I asked to speak to someone about the behavior and lack of information, I was told the patient complaint office doesn't deal with billing or billing employee issues. read more

I just wanted some medicine for a sinus infection which they prescribed and promptly sent it to a pharmacy that was closed. So I take the scripts to Walgreens and they can't fill it because Banner sent them to Sams? WTH???? Here are the good things: 1) Opened Saturday. 2) Very nice facilities. 3) Dr. Bair is good. 4) Calls about test results good. 5) Longer week day hours. Cons: 1) Wait time for everything is super long. Wait to go in to see the doctor. Then, you get in the room to see the doctor and you have to wait some more. Then, someone comes in, not the doctor to talk with you. Then that person leaves and you have to wait some more to see the actual doctor you came to see. Total time to see the doctor was maybe less than 10 minutes. Total of wait times was over an hour and this clinic was NOT busy both times we came on Saturdays. Hate to see what the wait times are when it is busy. read more

I called to schedule an appointment Monday, (new patient) and they said they didn't have an appointment for 3 weeks. The receptionist or call center lady ended up getting me an appt. for that Thursday. I arrived 30 min early like instructed for paperwork and expected to wait a long time like normally in a doctors office. They came and got me at 10:54, took me to a room, and within minutes. I was seen. The nurse Practitioner decided we should do some blood work, so I went over to the lab (in the same building) and didn't have to wait at all to be seen. They were so professional even with my fear of getting my blood drawn and I was in and out within 10 minutes. I had my results the next day - a little over 24 hours. I'm pretty sure we'll be switching our kids over to be seen here as well! read more

Finally got the itemized Bill from a visit that occurred on March 5, 2020...a year after the visit. Our HealthShare program only allows for bills to be be submitted 180 days after time of service. Thankfully they are processing my request as a "one-time" occurrence. Now we can finally close the door on Banner and be done. read more

We absolutely love Dr. Neilsen! She is thorough, answers any questions you have, and is very caring! Both of my girls see Dr. Neilsen and she will always ask how the other one is doing if I only bring one of them in. When my youngest was just a few days old we were waiting for lab results and she called us in the evening to give us the results we were waiting for. She definitely goes the extra mile! Her medical assistant, Nikki, is awesome! She is so sweet and helpful! I am so glad that we found Dr. Nielsen! My only complaint is the front office staff and whoever takes calls for appointments is not always the most helpful. read more

I would have given more stars to Banner Health on Warner in Gilbert, AZ however, their association with Briggs Medical and other equipment provided makes give them low rating. Example: I saw a doctor and he recommended a "brace" for my right wrist. He had the nurse bring me a brace and had me sign a "rip off" cost paper for a $500 plus brace. The fine print did not explain the cost. It had me "lease a brace" at a cost of $500 plus. I could have spent $30 at Walmart to buy the brace. Shame of Banner for not being cost conscious. I took the brace back to Banner and they they refused to accept it. No wonder our medical cost is high. read more

I love the doctor. However I do not like how they set up the or pay. I was told 138. Yet charged $200.75. For them to tell me my daughter is fine... a well visit? Yet my son was $150 on self pay? They think to highly of themselves here. It cost us less to go to urgent care if they get sick! I'm sorry but for a self pay family this is not the place to go. We will be transferring both kids out of this place. No way was our time there worth $200.75 dollars! Please look around! read more

Banner is the worst at putting patients first. I have been going to the same doctors office (Crismon and Baseline) for years and every time I need a prescription refilled it is a joke! I call, they tell me they will send it to the doctor as "urgent " but nothing. I have been out of my latest medication for a week tomorrow, still nothing. When there is open enrollment next year I will not be choosing Banner Health. read more
