Overall, the appointment itself went very well, and we really appreciated the care she provided. The only frustrating part was that my daughter's prescription was never sent to the pharmacy. We checked with the front desk during the same visit that everything was correct with the pharmacy. We drove to the pharmacy twice but the prescription was still never sent. Now the office is closed, and the answer machine is saying it will cost $20 just to speak with the after-hours nurse about getting the medication our daughter needs. That was a very disappointing end to an otherwise great visit.

As a first time mom I was concerned with vaccines and Kiera went over every single vaccine and helped me decide if I wanted to delay or skip any. She was also a great support both when I was breastfeeding and when I switched to formula later on. I also love that she takes a more natural approach to medicine. Our daughter has only been sick twice but both times she helped us choose vitamins and probiotics that helped strengthen her versus resorting to the typical store medicines. We love that! We also love that she is so accesible. She has always been able to schedule us same day when we have an abrupt concern and is also great at responding to emails right away. We have great insurance coverage but still choose to pay out of pocket for the wonderful care she provides to our little family! Highly recommend her!

A little disappointing since we liked them and got comfortable with them and had no idea they moved or were leaving until we made our next appointment. Loved Dr Potts all around and Dr Yin was very knowledgeable but now we see Dr Allred whom my son LOVES! I have the typical toddler who cries with any healthcare personnel he sees but he is so good for Dr Allred! She is so sweet, personal, knowledgeable and always takes my concerns into consideration. My son never cries when he sees her and actually looks forward to seeing her! One star removed for the billing area. I have had a few issues with being double billed, having an extra statement that was already paid in office or insurance not getting the correct information so I would get charged for something that I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket. I have had many calls with the office and communication with the front desk and insurance and it's always been cleared up but watch your statements.

I always feel heard, respected, and informed when we leave. She truly takes the time to make sure our babies are healthy and we know how to care for them if they are sick. My son's pediatrician is located all the way in downtown Phoenix, and I just don't have the energy to also drive my daughter all the way from where we are in the East Valley. Dr. Ijaola is proficient, punctual, and personable enough. He's been very thorough during my daughter's last 2 checkups. I also decided to finally have a wellness check for myself since the birth of my daughter was so horrific for both of us. My primary care physician also works at this office. She's one of the nurse practitioners. And she is extremely knowledgeable and thorough as well. Bonus, their office is immaculate and seriously, the fact that you can show up to your appointment on time and be seen right away with zero wait time is amazing!

Desert Shores Pediatrics is an amazing practice. They care very deeply for my child and have a…read morewonderful office staff. I am proud that they follow the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics and protect vulnerable children in our communities. My son sees them for several chronic issues and they have always been available when we need them. We go to both the Gilbert and Chandler locations and typically see Dr. Nason and Stacey, but all of their providers are really nice! Their office staff is I highly recommend their offices.
