Showed up to first therapist appointment with my new therapist, Carmen Mendoza, and she asked a bunch of very direct questions concerning some serious trauma. I explained at length, and then she asked AGAIN (a question that made no sense given the statement I had just uttered), indicating she was not paying attention at all. Didn't write anything down the entire session, never said a single insightful or well-placed prompt, and then at the end she said "oh by the way my last day is Monday so I won't be your therapist and you will have someone else." WHY DID YOU MAKE ME EXPLAIN TRAUMA REPEATEDLY AND IN DETAIL IF YOU KNEW THIS ALREADY? What was the point of any of that? Waste of time. Oh, and she doesn't understand or speak English very well so there was a big communication issue multiple times. Shame. Shame on you Carmen, for your apparent lack of thought for your patients, and shame on you Banner for letting this happen. read more

Very disappointed in billing practices. My doctor is never available for appointments. I was offered an appointment with a nurse practitioner. I was pleased with her care however, found out later she was not an in-network provider and got a hefty bill. Feel like this was a bait and switch!!! read more

Banner mental health doesn't care about patients. They assign an intern for one year. Revolving door of mistreatment while the intern earns their credentials at the expense of mentally I'll individuals. Three years and 3 different unqualified interns I was assigned. The last one was so offensive I phoned my life partner thirty minutes into a one hour session for him to view the abuse I was tolerating from intern Chung Su. He was in the lobby. I fired Chung Su under advice of legal counsel and that little piece of crap intern didn't like it and sent the sheriffs department to my home under the guise of a wellness check when Chung Su had NO AUTHORITY over me or my body. Chung Su is an arrogant little prick with no qualifications who retaliates when fired for his despicable behavior, lack of knowledge and complete disrespect for the paying customer. He is nothing more than a service provider and I was the customer who found him abusive and disrespectful. read more
