Sent home to almost die a few hours later. Don't come here. They don't care. I saw Sean Maley. Update: In response to the comment from this business, I called more than once after I regained my ability to speak in full sentences, and I asked why I was given medication without my knowledge and I just got a bunch of "I don't knows" and "I don't think they'd do that" even after I was sent a survey regarding my visit, I was asked if I wanted a call back, I said yes and I never received one. So I don't know what speaking to this facility again would do to help me in anyway. I even requested my medical records from this facility, and I was never told that the doctor believed I had a serious condition even though it was entered in my notes. And of course, it ended up being exactly that, but I was never told. I am an adult and I should've been told all of this information and not found out later by reading doctors notes. And I also read in my notes that I left with a 2 out of 10 pain. I never ever told anyone that my pain was below a 10. Their "legal counsel " isn't licensed to practice law in the state of AZ.

Well, ok. Next sign says " patients and guest parking level 1 only." Went around level 1 twice. Each space that was empty, was "reserved." Called security to ask where I could park. Guests and patients can park anywhere in that garage that isn't marked reserved. So up I go. All the way to the top! Where it's not covered parking! Not if I have to pay for it! Left the parking garage! Under 30 min is free. Back to the front door! Valet it is. Waited in line approx 5min. O'! Look! There's a sign that says " Free valet!" Would have been nice to see that at the entrance. The young man that administered the test was very knowledgeable he was very nice and he was very gentle. They could have given us more detailed directions on what to do and not to do or what to expect from this test. Overall it was a good visit but the parking sucks!

He bled through all of his clothes while sitting in their waiting room (so blood-soaked they were thrown away). Banner ED personnel left him sitting in the waiting room for over 8 HOURS, continuing to bleed and writhe in pain and became irritated when asked when he could be seen or treated. My father finally left and went to another hospital. I have worked in emergency medicine as a paramedic in 3 states over 40 years delivering patients to many, many ERs. My husband is a physician and has worked in multiple hospitals over 30 years. Neither of us have ever been so appalled at the lack of care or concern shown by Banner Hospital. Even at attempt at simple human kindness would have gone a long way but there wasn't even a minimal effort at patient care. I assure you, NO ONE in our family will ever step foot in a Banner facility again.

I went in because a cyst had ruptured behind my knee and I was unable to put weight on that leg. Various tests were done. Then, while we waited for reports, I passed out. We were seated in a hallway, and my husband tried to revive me. He couldn't leave me, for fear I would fall out of my chair. Thankfully, a nurse soon came up; she tried to revive me, and when I did not respond, she moved quickly to get me into a room. No heart attack, but an artery had flattened, and my BP was extremely low. Dr. Joshua Paree was there, and my husband was very impressed with him. He moved quickly, knew exactly what he needed to do and did it. I began to come around while they were working to stabilize me. I received the excellent care I have come to associate with TMC, and I am very grateful. So many nurses, but I remember names of only two: Jenny and Miguel. But all of them were so efficient and so kind.

He was rarely cleaned, and staff were supposed to clean his mouth before meals, but that was never done unless I did it myself. If I arrived later in the morning, his meal would often be left sitting in his room with no one helping feed him. Staff were also supposed to reposition him every two hours, but that never happened. There were many times I left in the evening and returned the next morning to find him in the exact same position. The response time to call buttons was unacceptable, often taking 20 to 30 minutes. One time, his feeding tube alarm went off for almost two hours before anyone responded. At night, staff would sometimes simply turn the feeding tube off so they would not have to monitor it. Overall, the neglect and lack of proper care were extremely upsetting and deeply disappointing. I would not trust this facility with the care of a loved one.

It caught my hair on fire. Went under the sheet covering my face. Im lucky to be here. My surgeon was fast acting and swiped everything off my face. There is no burn unit at Oro Valley so they had to take me by ambulance to Banner to see a burn surgeon. This has affected me for the rest of my life. I was set up with a representative to help with my case. I requested compensation for what happened. The ambulance was not covered by my insurance. To this day no one has ever gotten back to me. I have written letters to people in Phoenix, gone up to the hospital until someone would speak with me, my primary doctor even spoke to the lady in charge of the Northwest hospital network. She never got back to me. They even tried to blame me for this happening. My mom had a stroke awhile back. An ambulance took her to Oro Valley. They were not even going to keep her a d run test. Thank God we had someone with us in the medical field who demanded they get her a room and run some test. While in the hospital we never had a nurse that actually worked there. They were all floating and we never saw the same one twice. I have met people who love this hospital but this is my story. I waited a year to write this review hoping I wouldn't have to and that someone would get in touch with me. Think twice about going there if you have a choice.

I made an appointment for 10pm (FYI, don't bother with appts, they ignore them) There were perhaps two other patients. I went thru triage quickly, and was told to wait in empty hallway. In a plastic chair. I eventually went back for x-rays, and then returned to the empty hallway. About 20 minutes later, a physician (? - I dont believe he introduced himself), came out and said on initial read, he did not see a fracture, but due to the amount of pain, he wanted a more detailed look. Then I sat in that same empty hallway in that crappy plastic chair for another 45 minutes. Nothing. No "we'll be with you shortly" - NOTHING. I could hear the staff laughing and talking. I am not a "Karen," I don't complain about every little thing. EVER. But after nearly an hour, I'd finally had enough, and packed up my stuff to leave. I never raised my voice, although it was probably clear I was annoyed. Then a nurse came out, and explained to me in a VERY patronizing tone that the doctor had "other patients." I pointed out that all that was needed was for someone to just say "we know you're here," and I would've been happy to wait. That particular nurse was so condescending and rude, it was all I could do to contain my verbal response. She seriously acted like my request for very occasional updates was an outlandish request - I come from a medical family - my father was a combat medic, my husband is A RETIRED RN. I treat health care professionals like gold. But I have never been treated like this by any doctor, nurse or the guy who empties bed pans. RUDE. i do not have great insurance, that's probably a reason they just left me in the hallway. In the meantime, I cannot wear shoes, I cannot drive. And I STILL DON'T KNOW if my foot is broken. I will NEVER return to that hospital. If I'm bleeding to death, they might just leave me in the hallway.
