I walked in yesterday because my splash guard/ plastic engine cover under my car had come loose with a curb and asked if they could fix it. The gentleman at the counter came to my car, took a look and instructed one of the guys to secure the cover, he said it would be about 1 hour wait. I sat in lobby for about 20 minutes my car was done, when I asked how much I owed, he said nothing... it was no big deal. So how is that for good service? No one had time to install them for a few weeks (because of the size of my RV) Banner not only made the time but they got me the tires and installation less expensive then I could find the tires themselves online. Had a bad experience, waisted a lot of time and money. This business is more suited for RV's and Trucks, they have very little time for cars and pick ups. Had my vehicle for days and days, then claimed, they either couldn't do the job. invoiced me for almost $300 to do an examination and still couldn't complete repairs. Did the Road Force balance and my vehicle felt worse than when i took it there, re-did the road force balance at the dealership for half the price than Banner and the vibrations went away, may be Banner could find the time to look at my vehicle, but they always found the time to invoice me for nothing - Definitely won't be going back. This is the second time writing this type of report, i usually don't but the service was bad. The other time i wrote one was for excellent service from CB Wheels & Tires - now they know what they are doing and great customer service. I was having this odd problem with Bertha (my Charger RT) where her accelerator was shutting off on sharp right turns... yeah... only right turns. A coworker referred me to his mechanic, so I checked them out. They said that I needed a new transmission & it'd set me back about $2,800. I almost bit the bullet because, as one can imagine, your car just shutting off randomly isn't fun. A few weeks pass and long story short, I decide to take it to Banner Tire for another opinion. After analyzing her, it turns out that there was a hole in the pan that houses the transmission fluid. A $250 hole... not a $2,800 new tranny. Bertha and I couldn't be happier. I now use them for almost all of my mechanical needs. Like another Yelper mentioned... they're not the cheapest. But it's quality work done by competent and fair mechanics. read more

I found the the tires I wanted at Banner at the same price as Walmart. Installation was a couple bucks more but worth the convenience. I ordered them in the morning and they were installed that afternoon with about an hour and a half wait. The only thing I saw wrong was that they didn't bother to update my car in their system. They documented placing tires on a car I haven't had in 10 years. I hope that doesn't come back to haunt me if there is a problem with the tires. Since then I have changed all four tires on my Land Rover RR Sport, my wives BMW X5 and my moms Mercedes ML350. Trailering a boat to Orlando after a fishing trip to The Everglades and blew a trailer tire on the turnpike. Changed the tire but didn't want to go another 200 miles without a spare. Took first exit while my buddy googled tire service. Was on the way to the one recommended when I saw Banner Tire on my left and turned in. Tom was at the desk and told me to back my rig to Al's area. Al asked about the fishing and told me he'd help. Bottom line: They changed both trailer tires in less than an hour and the price was much less than I anticipated. Wonderful and honest service. I am new to the area. I went to a national chain place for a quick oil change. They were adamant I need an expensive brake job replacing everything. I decided to call a shop near me to see if the first estimate was responsible. Banner Tire quoted a price for the same repairs several hundred dollars less. When I took my vehicle in to have the repairs done, I authorized all repairs. I was delighted and surprised when they completed the needed repairs and let me know all was good to go. I actually needed only break pads and not a full brake job. Brakes work break and it saved me lots of money. If you wish to be scammed and have something on your vehicle replaced that doesn't need to be, go to Banner Tire and see JEAN. If you do deal with him I would suggest obtaining a second opinion before agreeing to have them do the work. You may be surprised of the outcome. I know Banner has a lot of loyal customers but I guaranty some would be shocked to know what's going especially if you deal with JEAN. And if you do discovery something "shady" going on, and you want to report it to his boss TOM, don't expect him to do much. He will re-inspect the vehicle and do his best to doctor it up JEANS fraudulent inspection to make it look like his employee is not completely wrong even if its clear and right in front of his own eyes. It appears TOM doesn't like to be a boss sometimes and step up and do what's right. What boss would flat out say his employee may be screwing you out of a few hundred dollars. A real boss. If you are a female or an automotive dummy as one reviewer put its, beware. Over the years I have spent thousands of dollars at this place, I have also referred thousands of dollars of work to this place but, that will never happen again. They have some "cleaning up" to do.
