I used to work near a Yunan place tears ago that made Crossing Bridge noodles. It was excellent but one day it was gone. Years after that one popped up a bit south of me. It also disappeared. Now there's a newish one ive not tried but looks legit according to the owner of Banzha. She hails from Yunnan and went through Austria and now landed in Norway. Who knew Id have excellent Yunnan food here when it is hard to find in an area full of Chinese cuisine representing a lot of the country? Ahe creates us a spread of dishes...pork belky, papaya aalad, sausage, spicy wings, mishroons/ham... all delicious. The space is super hip and doesn't necessarily reveal itself as traditionally Chinese but it does so in the food. Maybe one of the few places in Europe that ive been happy to try the Chinese food and id have never knownif it wasnt recommended by a chef at a high end restaurant in town. Trust the locals knowledge! read more
