The doctor wasn't very throughly helping her out since her oxygen levels were not at par last night. He says there nothing wrong, my wife said ok your the doctor. (Mind you my wife took her vitals last night with her being an EMR.) The doctor says per covid guidelines I can't give you anything, except for Tami flu. Now mind you she is 100lbs 4'8. So the doctor gave here a z-pack, and doxycycline. Then they asked if we wanted to do a chest x-ray. My Daughter said ok to that. Then the staff said the Tech wasn't there to do it right now, hopefully she'll be back. Key word "hopefully". So they wait and wait another hour goes by, and they tech is back. By now they been here a long time, and my daughter is fading. She needs to go home and sleep. But now the staff said the x-ray machine needs to be shut down. Hmmm so which is it. The Tech wasn't in or the machine is overheating? Any way all in all they got caught in a lie, and started arguing with my wife. Needless to say they passed on the x-rays and left. I do not recommend this place. Not even your dog.

I specifically wish to share with you about my experience with Ebony and Johanna. My eight year old daughter was showing possible symptoms of Covid. I called MedEpress to make an appoint to get her seen as it is my understanding that they are available after hours and on Sundays. This is what happened: My first call I was told by Joanna that I needed to call back in a hour because they were on a break. My call in a hour, I was told by Joanna to call back in another hour because they were busy. I called back in another hour and the phone was not answered. There is no option to leave a message. Their automated system just hung up on me. After more attempts to call them over the next thirty minutes with no answer a employee by the name of Ebony answered the phone and put me on hold for 10 minutes. When she got on the phone she said they were taking a pause, whatever that means, but at 2 pm I could bring my daughter between 4 pm and 6 pm,Unless, I wanted to bring her immediately and wait in the parking lot. Which I could have been told that when I called the first time at 9:30 am. I elected to do that especially since I was under the impression that they proveded express service as indicated by there name. When I arrived I was told that they dont accept my insurance and that I would have to pay $189.00 for the test. Everyone else does not charge for the test. When I mentioned that to Ebony she replied very rudely that " they have always charged for the test". Based on My experience with them to that point I decided to go somewhere else that does not promote corporate greed, Is not rude to their customers and potential patients and does not give thier customers a run around while they are trying to get medical help for their children. I am very dissapointed with the way this company treated us and will make a point of telling everyone I know about this experience and I will specifically mention the name of the rude, none caring employees that MedExpress has. She still had short quick responses and told me the sample was never sent off and that the Dr. was not in that day, but that she would send a note to her to see what other course of action could be done. I called back today (Tuesday) for an update and to see if Dr. was available. The nurse this time was nice, but informed again the sample was not sent to the lab and cancelled in the system. When I asked why was it not sent, she said the it could've been an issue of not enough which I already had previously told them I could come back to provide more. The nurse then said "Well you weren't charged for the lab", but heck all yall did was check my weight and give me a bottle of water to provide a urine sample that you did NOTHING with! A PURE WASTE OF $135 FOR NO SERVICE!

I still got a bill after getting no answers and no treatment. I paid the bill and this place absolutely WON'T send me a confirmation number or a receipt. They said to check my bank statement. That's not a receipt. If they lost my sample, they'll lose financial records. Save yourself the time and just go to the ER. It'll cost more (not much) but you'll at least be treated.

I completely understand that there can be more urgent cases that warrant being treated first but it got to the point that no patient sitting in the waiting area was being called back. We were told that the ER beds were full and the nursing staff upstairs was understaffed so they had nowhere for the ER patients to go if they needed to be admitted. OUTDATED: His approach to patient care is 30 years out of date, as is the technology he describes as "cutting edge." He will interrupt as you are speaking; he is dismissive of your concerns; he shamed me for asking for medication (the simplest, most cost-effective solution); he has underdeveloped social skills and terrible bedside manner. His mullet did not impress me, either. NOT WORTH IT: I waited two weeks to get in; spent two hours in drive time and $20 in gas; waited over an hour to see him; then was given a hard salespitch for an expensive gadget that requires electrodes be inserted in my body and only works in 70 percent of patients, according to the sales pamphlet.
