I underwent a primary rhinoplasty with Dr. Butler in July 2024. During my consultation, I clearly stated my two main goals: reducing my dorsal hump and lifting or rotating the nasal tip. Dr. Butler told me that my tip angle was already appropriate and that reducing the dorsal hump would cause the tip to "fix itself." Although I questioned this explanation, I trusted his professional judgment and proceeded with surgery. From the early postoperative period, it was evident that something was wrong. Even with the cast still on, my nasal tip appeared droopy and unsupported. I also want to note that no taping or support was ever used postoperatively to help maintain tip position. I was repeatedly reassured that this was normal and advised to "give it time." At cast removal, the issue became more apparent. Although swelling masked some of the deformity, my tip remained rotated downward, consistent with a developing pollybeak deformity. I again raised concerns and was told that all swelling had "settled into the tip" from the cast and that there was nothing to worry about. Between two and three months post-op, after moving out of state, I sent multiple emails to Dr. Butler's nurse expressing concern about my collapsed, downward-drooping tip and a prominent bump at the tip of my nose that appeared to be protruding cartilage. These concerns were again dismissed and attributed to swelling due to my being "very active," and I was told I would need to wait until six months post-op for evaluation. At my six-month in-person appointment, my appearance had not improved and had, in fact, worsened. I raised my concerns directly with Dr. Butler regarding the obvious pollybeak deformity. His response was dismissive; he stated, "Someone's been online, haven't they," and told me that my nose looked great and that he "wouldn't have changed a thing." No revision, corrective plan, or financial accommodation was offered. Following this appointment, I consulted with three well-known U.S. revision rhinoplasty specialists, all of whom independently confirmed a clear pollybeak deformity, a droopy and under-rotated tip, and protruding cartilage irregularities. Ultimately, I required revision rhinoplasty at fifteen months post-op, at an additional cost of $15,000. Several months after my surgery, I reviewed the practice's website and was shocked to find my photos being used in a misleading manner. Although I signed a photo release, I did not consent to false or deceptive representation. The photo labeled as my "before" image is actually my six-month post-op result, while the photo labeled as my "after" image appears to be taken within the first month post-op, when swelling temporarily obscured the deformity. The website claims the "after" photo was taken at four months post-op, despite me not having a four-month appointment. If my nose truly "looked great," it is concerning that my unsatisfactory six-month result was used as a "before" image. I have attached screenshots and accurate before-and-after photos for reference. I reached out to the office to express my concerns regarding my postoperative care and the misleading use of my photos and received no response. I am sharing my experience so that others can make a fully informed decision and avoid the physical, emotional, and financial distress that I endured.

The GPS led us there first and they new exactly where to point us to get to the urgent care. (They call it priority care FYI) Overall a great visit and would recommend if you have something urgent you need looked at. Kudos again for helping us find the cheapest pharmacy to get the antibiotics we needed. 11/10 would get sick again.

The spot became a wound and took two months to heal. It is now a scar. To add insult to injury. My insurance was billed $222.00 just for that one treatment. Unbelievable.

From the moment I was transported from Sacred Heart Hospital (after being there a week) with a few medical complications. I was brought to Encompass and the staff was remarkable!! I would highly recommend you making the right choice with Encompass!! If I ever had to go to any rehab. facility it would ONLY be Encompass. This is the 1st time I have done so. I usually go straight home. My friend and home health care physical therapist suggested I transition to a rehab facility prior to going home because of the challenges of being below the knee amputee on my right leg, it would be in my best interest and moving towards the best possible outcome. She recommended Encompass because she had heard good things. I can now personally testify to the EXCELLENT care I received over an 8 day stay. From the moment I was delivered into Encompass care until the moment I was discharged and on my way home, I received a quality of care that I have never experienced before. Every nurse, nursing tech, and physical therapist who implemented the care prescribed for me was exceptional. They listened to my concerns and reassured me as to the plans in place to meet my needs. Because this procedure is part of a series of steps needed to give me complete control of my quality of life they took care to explain clearly how everything would work together when the new hardware was installed and I was ultimately able to live my best life. And those were the folks I had minute by minute interaction with. My case worker, the doctors, and administrators were on point to ensure that they clearly directed the care my people implemented and made happen. I experienced the full spectrum of emotions from despair to joy, and my team was there and available to hold my hand or celebrate our victory. And that word TEAM is the most important to me. Encompass gave me a Team approach to successfully transitioning back home while continuing to progress to the new hardware installation. After which I will return to Encompass to complete this process knowing that my Team is there to support my needs whatever they may be in this next stage. It was done with great ease and very little discomfort. Dr. Goyeneche receives an A+ due to two previous shots in my hip, which were awful. His skills are far above past experiences. This is for the Pace location…read more I am not one to do this but I came here for my initial Physical Therapy weeks ago and worked with Viktor and thought he ws great. He really was, so i give hime credit. He was empathetic and helpful. I have had major cervical stenosis and major myofascial muscle knots because of it. He was able to help take the edge off the pain with stretches which I appreciated and tried to work out the knots but with little success. But I dont believe that was his fault. The pain came back full force, even with stretching and injections. After talking to my primary she was confused on why PT didn't recommend dry needling or another procedure for my back that my pain Dr that sent then could try since the knots were so bad and would not disappear. ( I now realize they don't have the training or schooling deal with severe issues at this location). So she ordered another referral but asked me to go to a different Physical therapist. I was happy with my previous experience so I said i would go back to these guys. The referral was sent over. It specifically stated dry needling for thorasic strain in wall and tendon. It was VERY clear it was the back. They scheduled me two weeks out and if you have severe pain, you know how long two weeks feels like. I go in today for it and received a different PT. She immediately did not seem as empathetic as Viktor. She actually had NO CLUE why i was there or even looked at my paperwork before seeing her patient. (Another suggestion, if your patient returns, do not switch therapist). She told me, no we don't do that here. We are not trained for that. I would have had to take way more courses and I am not going to do that. OK. I really didn't think that was professional to state the last part but ok. I was not impressed with the bedside manner. She was even joking with other patients while she was dealing with my tears and distress. Unacceptable. I left in tears (mostly due to being in pain for 6 months and I thought FINALLY I am going to get some relief. It was quite embarrassing to have this whole thing go on in front of other patients instead of in private with my Healthcare provider. Since I am at it, why does the front desk ladies always seem bothered you are interrupting non work related conversations. A smile might be nice. That being said, I waited TWO weeks for that appointment. In pain. Why in the WORLD is Andrews scheduling for a referral they can NOT do. The woman told me the front desk really doesn't know things and they just schedule. Maybe this girl was new. I don't know. I am not putting her name out there because everyone has bad days but while I got a sorry, it was not ok to joke, and not ok to mention the schooling part the way she did. There is a professional, kind way to handle that situation and that wasn't it. WHY is a professional not looking over these referrals first? Why are trained medical professionals not going over thier patients paperwork before seeing them? Very very unprofessional. And very VERY WRONG to schedule that far out for something they can not do. I don't understand. Please, please Andrews, have a trained professional review these referrals. Do not waste the time of patients that have been physically hurting and are dealing with severe emotional strain because of it. When you do this, they have to start over with a new PT that could also take several weeks and delay healing and relief. And if you do mess up show some accountability. NICOLE WALL
