While out in the mountains with Gian, we stayed in the small town of Tesero (which doesn't have much restaurants to begin with) so we opted for the most lively spot we could find. Pizzeria Roma, which ironically has "Rome" in the name but ok. Anyway, we went to eat here 3 nights straight and to be honest ... I LOVED IT. The place filled with such vibrant atmospheres of families and friends talking loudly on top of each other, and chefs freshly making food right behind the counter which you can observe wherever you're seated! I made the biggest boo boo ever and did not take pictures of any of my food except for 2 pictures of dessert (I know. I'm a failure as a Yelper D:). But in my defense, it was a meal right after skiing and I was starving! So clicking a pic didn't even cross my mind through all of the times we were there (I'm sorry). However, I can honestly say that the food was AWESOME. Like super family vibe comfort food of deliciousness, right in front of you. It's a pizzeria, so definitely try their freshly made pizzas! All the ones we tried were great! Dough was not too thick, ingredients were fresh, portion was massive (as usual in Italy), what more do you want?! They also have pastas and special dishes specifically made by locals from that region like their grilled mountain cheeses! So go crazy and give it a try! Everything I had was delicious! And ESPECIALLY the dessert. Ahhhh gawwwddd pleaseeee how I miss their desserts! :'( I tried almost everything they had! Tiramisu, creme caramella, this fragola crema in a jar and also ricotta cheese dessert OMG. So beautiful. Service is also really good. If you speak Italian, like all places, it's easier to get along with the staff members! They're very welcoming and treat you like pals. :-) Really liked this place! We were practically regulars. And would recommend it to those who are planning to visit Tesero (especially during ski season! The delicious food here will keep you warm and fill you right up!).

From the atmosphere to the food and wine to the impeccable service. We had the seven course tasting menu with wine pairings. All of the wines came from within a few miles of the restaurant; likewise, many, if not most of the ingredients. Every detail of the experience was well cared for. When they discovered that it was a birthday celebration at the end, they expressed regret at not having known, so they brought us a bottle of their own vintage. We've eaten all over the world - at some of the finest places. This meal easily ranks in the top two or three. Bravo to the staff, the chef and all involved. We drove 1:30 hours each way. And it was more than week with it. A must visit. Well wo

Both seafood and raw meat were super fresh and tasty, the pasta handmade, the Traminer perfumed & fragrant and the chocolate dessert just came out of the oven. I would definitely try to go back and recommend this place to all those who love local products, cuisine from Trentino Alto Adige and dining in an historic scenario!

Plus there was approx. 30 cheeses at the salad bar to choose from, it was crazy! It is a bit formal, though I saw people dining that were dressed casually as well. The dining room is nicely done with a great view. They start you with a small plate of meat and cheese - literally one of each for each person, which is nice. They served bread with house made butter, which was really good - I don't normally butter my bread but this was too good to pass up! Then I had the salad bar. They then brought out a cold octopus salad- nothing I would have ever ordered but thanks to this experience, I will be in the future! I had the osso bucco with risotto, which was a special that day. It was good but I've had better. My husband had house made pasta with lobster. He also thought it was good, but not great. We then shared the dessert buffet. There was tiramisu, different varieties of chocolate and cookies as well as a berry cream dish and profiteroles in a chocolate sauce. Though I would only rate most of the food as good to very good, I think the variety, service and setting really made it a great experience.

Their executive chef Albin Widmann treats you with traditional Ladin and South Tyrolean as well as Mediterrenean dishes. The wine menu presents over 400 local and international varieties. They have daily speciality menus as well as an a la cart menu. The restuarant also offers a salad bar, cheese and pastry buffet. The chestnut soup with truffle and the calf cheek are especially good. They also brought us a cold-cut meat plate, grilled shrimps and an assortment of sweets and chocolates on the house. Every plate comes as a piece of art work. The service was quick and efficient. Recommended.
