This is a terrific local place, which seems to attract all the neighbors for breakfast, lunch, and the aperitivo hour and later. Excellent espresso and cappuccino. Good pastries, especially the corneti, which, as in other coffee bars, are priced by the kind of item, not by the filling, so a crema- filled corneto costs the same as an unfilled one (semplice is the term for plain). Good sandwiches, too. You can sit outside (if you pay the outside/fuori price) under the umbrellas, or you can sit inside (for the regular price). Or you can stand at the counter with the Italians. A good place to have an Aperol Spritz before the dinner hour begins. Modest prices. read more
