The shower house/ restroom was meticulous, newly painted and remodeled. It felt great getting showered in a clean shower. The park was quiet all night. The manager is a sweet gal. Because we got in late she allowed us to pay in the morning. Who has ever heard of that??? It was refreshing to feel trusted. The park has a new name and is being given a facelift. First, they complained that my kids were outside and should be with an adult at ALL times. Who does that?!? My kids are 13, 8, 7, and 1. The older siblings are outside by themselves at home all the time. We've paid to stay here like ANYONE else! Yet my kids can't play outside!? Next, my dog was on the leash in front of the RV. NOT BARKING, Not bothering anyone. Owner knocks on the door to show me the rules that this can't be. This is the last night we are staying here and NOW it's a problem. There's cats roaming around, even the owners dog has been off the leash! They are being petty because we are a black family. What FILTH !!!

The park is cleaned and you can tell the management roams around to keep an eye on things. Trash gets collected daily. The pool area, office area, and all the grassy areas are well-maintained. The lake right in that area is Lake Hamilton and it is really full right now. They have kayaking and pontoon available to rent. This is a great place if you have a shorter camper than a fifth wheel.
