It was such a pleasant experience! Our spot (fill hook ups for only $34) was adjacent to the creek and under large trees. There are showers for paying guests. First, they complained that my kids were outside and should be with an adult at ALL times. Who does that?!? My kids are 13, 8, 7, and 1. The older siblings are outside by themselves at home all the time. We've paid to stay here like ANYONE else! Yet my kids can't play outside!? Next, my dog was on the leash in front of the RV. NOT BARKING, Not bothering anyone. Owner knocks on the door to show me the rules that this can't be. This is the last night we are staying here and NOW it's a problem. There's cats roaming around, even the owners dog has been off the leash! They are being petty because we are a black family. What FILTH !!!

We called at the last minute for a reservation and Wendi made it happen. She's one of the few Park managers that said she'd call us back and actually did since we've been RVing. This park is nestled in the trees with no Mountain View. There's a clubhouse with lots of fans, swings, rocking chairs and a picnic table. Everything is very clean. There's no pool. You can swing, ride a bike or walk. There is a pool table and a puzzle making area and horseshoes that might interest you. The people are very friendly and offer help if you need them. I wish there was a playground for the kids or a pool or something. The laundry room is large and conveniently placed in the shower building. There's a large dumpster for trash. Shower room is clean and decorated. All in all, we've enjoyed our stay. Wendi has been so helpful. We'll be back and we'll tell our friends...and you.

We stayed in Romantic Creek Cabin and it was super secluded. The bed is ridiculously comfortable and makes you want to never get up. The hot tub was great as was the outdoor shower located next to it. Large screened in porch with full size bed swing it comfortable although being August we didn't use it much because it was a bit humid outside. Check in and check out is super easy. The negatives: little to no cell service. We were able to make and receive cell calls but no reliable data service. Which only mattered because of checking in with our kiddos. Otherwise, unplugging is kind of the point right? One night we decided to stay in and just watch a movie on tv. The tv and sat service/ Blu-ray is great but being that there is only a tv in the living room it was mildly disappointing. The shower in the room has great water pressure. Maybe too great. Ha. The non adjustable shower head type combined with the pressure made for a shower that fired a little too hard for our taste. But the amazing waterfall outdoor shower makes up for that. No wifi That's really the only negatives and they aren't really negatives as much as things you just need to be aware of ahead of time. This place was amazing and we will definitely be back!

You can just tell they love their horses and they are all fat and happy! The horses, not their caregivers..... It doesn't look like much but it's because they are laid back and very informal. You can pet the horses before you ride and I even offered to help brush one but I think they thought I was joking. I wasn't. The ride was beautiful! My horse was placid but still had enough spunk that I had to pay attention so he wouldn't wander off the trail. He was half draft and half Quarter and he was a huge fellow! I fell in love at first sight! Even my hubby who is scared of horses, never been around horses, and never ridden before had a blast! If you're a newbie, that's fine, they will take great care of you! If you've ridden before and think you'll be bored, don't worry! The scenery is so gorgeous you'll forget that the horse is doing most of the work. They are seasonal and don't have a website to make reservations but just give them a call and they will get you set up. I believe it was $45 for the hour long ride and it was so worth it! Definitely do not miss doing this when you're here in Hot Springs!
