The deck was brand new, and furniture was clean and included an umbrella. Check in was easy and done though a keypad lock system. No issues! Loved that there were curtains over all windows for extra privacy. New vinyl hardwood floors throughout the unit and fresh paint. Comfortable sitting area with throw blankets. Inside the unit, there was ample towels provided, as well as beach towels which was a nice touch! It is stocked with kitchen pots, pans, knives, ice tray, plates and cups. There is a microwave and stove as well. Air conditioning worked wonderfully which is essential for those hot summers. You can swim and fish on the property and they have a dock. The only things to note was we wished there were some lounge chairs outside and that the shower was a little bigger. If you are broad shouldered it is very challenging to fit comfortably in the shower. Additionally, there is only one mirror in the bathroom, another mirror elsewhere would've been helpful so one can get ready while another showers. We would definitely come back! It is only 10-12 minutes from downtown.

Each room has an outside picnic table, chairs and grill/fire pit. Fishing right from there. And very quick replying to questions. We will definitely stay here again. Next time, though, we'll stay longer.

I much prefer a motel/lodge setup where we can park outside the door and walk right in. Willow beach really fit the bill for us. They offered us a clean little studio apartment sort of space with bed, couch, fully stocked kitchenette. The best part though, it is literally lake side with amazing views out the sliding glass door. There's a patio attached to the unit with picnic table and grill. You can't go wrong here. My only complaint is the people who checked in next door on the last night didn't understand the rules or common courtesy/privacy. The guy walked right up to our sliding glass door while I was standing there. They parked in our spot (the spots are numbered/labeled). They apparently had the room on the other side of us too so they walked back and forth across our patio all evening. That part sucked because I felt compelled to close the curtains and eliminate our beautiful view to keep the neighbors from walking up to the glass. That only happened on the last night. There were other neighbors before them that didn't do that. Most people would know better. But that definitely ruined the last night for us. It was creepy to say the least. We were there during off season, so definitely other open rooms available where these people didn't have to stay right on top of us. Oh well, I would still stay here again.

LOVE Riverview Cabins & Canoes!…read more Hubby & I do a weekend get away to the Arkansas mountains at least once a year & this last time we decided to stay here! We have stayed many places & we usually stay at Petit Jean but we decided to check out Riverview Cabins & Canoes & it turned out to be the best trip to the Arkansas mountains we have ever had. We rented the small cabin for 2 with the hot tub. It was so adorable! The bed was super comfy & the hot tub was amazballs. It was perfect for 2, very romantic & had everything we needed. The first night it rained & we hung out & made veal meatballs. So yummy! We loved the little gas stove & the giant shower. There was also a cute little fireplace & bear rug! So adorable. The hiking in the woods was cool, the canoeing & river was beautiful & the riding stables were well kept. The whole property was very nice. All the Cabins were picture perfect. There are a couple different canoeing trips you can take & you can hike & ride the trails. There is a little town near by you can go have lunch too, we checked that out, it was very cool with some very cool old buildings & a couple fun lunch spots. It is out in BFE, Walmart, grocery stores & liquor stores are like an hours drive away so bring everything you need b4 you get there. The lady that works the check in was very sweet & very kind to us. The clocks sprang forward (daylight saving time) & we overslept the last day bc our bed was that comfy! I called her & she was very cool about it & gave us an extra hour to check out. That was almost 3 months ago & we are still talking about what a great time we had there :)) We can't wait to go back! The room has a nice size kitchenette . My only complaint is the balcony area isn't separated it would be MUCH BETTER if they put some lattice work between the rooms or something so you had some privacy! The site also has multiple pools, hot tubs, basketball court, tennis court and a small rec room with ping pong and pool. The staff was very nice to us and helped with what ever we needed. Our room V4 had an amazing view of the lake with a nice quite balcony. The beds are comfortable but the blinds don't hide much sun in the morning. First, they complained that my kids were outside and should be with an adult at ALL times. Who does that?!? My kids are 13, 8, 7, and 1. The older siblings are outside by themselves at home all the time. We've paid to stay here like ANYONE else! Yet my kids can't play outside!? Next, my dog was on the leash in front of the RV. NOT BARKING, Not bothering anyone. Owner knocks on the door to show me the rules that this can't be. This is the last night we are staying here and NOW it's a problem. There's cats roaming around, even the owners dog has been off the leash! They are being petty because we are a black family. What FILTH !!!
