Santona has a great number of Restaurants and Tapas Bars. We found some really great places, but always tried to visit some different spots.
We came to this place here once, mostly because they had Percebes (goose neck barnacle, goose barnacle or leaf barnacle) on the menu. Ordered a plate of these, some mussels with tomato sauce and fried calamares. White wine with that.
It was spring, but nice enough to sit outside. A busy, lively walking street (even during Covid-19). A nice spot. Our dog was welcome as well. Staff/owner was friendly and the food arrived quick. Prices are fair.
The fried calamares were fine, but not among the best. The mussels were very good though and so was the nice wine. The Percebes were really nice, something you should try once. There's not much meat on them of course. But nice and fresh.
All in all a pretty good place to grab some Tapas. But we only came here once, because we preferred some other restaurants still. read more
