The food is great and the place is fun. My only complaint would be the lack of ventilation is the worst I have experienced, and smoke normally does not effect me.

You can taste a variety of wine to suit your choice of tapas. To top it all, they serve you in the garden nested in the back of the store. Hugo the owner, a true wine connoisseur, is a great guy always ready to explain and entertain. I recommend wholeheartedly for a romantic summer evening or together with friends.

At night the cats are less active because the bar is way more active. the area this bar is in is super fun. I loved to just hang out and people watch. Its a great place to get a cheap pastis or any other drink you wanted. If you're visiting Marseille I suggest you come start your night here. You'll meet some cool people and people in a cool area as well.

The selection by the glass is rather large, and with interesting varietals and local wines. While my waitress didn't know her wines that well, she sent over a sommelier who knew exactly what she had and what the wines were like. To start I had some rosé and some panisses, those lovely chick-pea flour fritters. Then I ordered an Argentine-style sausage that was spiced with herbs and came with chimichurri. It was cooked perfectly and had a delicious crust and a soft and moist inside. Amazing. Another night I had a cheese and charcuterie plate which was simple and perfect. And fun wines throughout. I'm a big wine geek and I would run, not walk, back to this place, which with its lovely wines and simple no-nonsense food is my favorite kind of place to frequent.
