As it was a hot June day a wonderful breeze was blowing through the tent adding an added layer of enjoyment while sipping on my wine. The wine I was drinking was a local white Vin Verre which comes across very much like a Sauvignon Blanc. The wine was quite tasty with mineral and citrusy notes and the staff was quite friendly and accommodating. Overall great relaxing spot for a drink and a rest while exploring the streets of historic Le castellet.

The menu is limited to a few appetizers, main courses and desserts with specials also offered daily. The food quality is exceptional, as is the cozy atmosphere inside (seats perhaps 20 people inside and maybe another 12-20 outside). Locals seem to love it. It's only a few minutes walk from the dock. We stumbled upon it one evening and loved it so much we returned two nights later!

We first ordered a cheese plate which was great, so many great cheeses to choose from. I ate the filet of sole with roasted vegetable and the best roasted potatoes I have ever eaten. To start we asked fro green salad which in France is usually, lettuce. This was a delicious salad with more than just lettuce and a great light dressing as well. No dessert for us although they sounded great, we just drank wine! Its a wine bar so the selection was large!
