Arriving for the first time at Sevilla Airport and then catching a taxi to our hotel, we were tired and hungry travelers looking for authentic cuisine. Our hotel concierge suggested an Andalusian restaurant just a brisk walk down the street. It was already past 10pm but we heard that people dine much later here in Spain. We took a peek at our room, dropped off our luggage and headed out to explore. Little did we know that while the restaurant is open until midnight, the kitchen closes at 10:45! We just missed the cutoff and left disappointed but determined. We returned the next day around 8pm and are we glad we did. The food is delicious and the presentation was on point. We ordered two dishes: the oxtail (aka bull tail) over fries, and artichokes with roasted salmorejo. Both were tender and flavorful in their own right. There were other dishes enticing us, but we settled on these two and don't regret it for a minute. Now I'm curious to try the rest of the menu! I guess we'll have to book a return flight to Sevilla to find out. read more
