This place was very good. Staff was efficient and friendly. There was a special menu for la navidad. Had a jamón and cheese plate which was great. The beef short rib was extremely tender. The cod tho was in a sauce that was too heavy and salty. The dessert was good especially the sugar spun on top! Really like this place although it is a little pricey. Don't forget to check out my profile!

Green salad with fried Brie. Very good. Be prepared to dress it yourself.

Perfect lunch. We had about given up on finding a good restaurant in the very touristy area of Sevilla and almost ended up at a 1.5 star restaurant next door. Thanks to Yelp, we moved to Don Juan and were not disappointed! Caesar salad - overdressed but delicious with chicken! You don't find much of that in Spain. Green salad with fried Brie cheese - we dressed this one ourselves, so it was perfect. Could have used some more cheese though. The greens were beautiful and fresh. Focaccia con jamon - this was amazing! Seasoned with rosemary, which I don't usually like, but I loved it!! Risotto with mushrooms - we had risotto last night that we thought would be the best ever. We were wrong. This was outstanding.

Pimientos, huevos, risotto and gazpacho. All veg and amazing!

Our first meal in Sevilla. We arrived at around 3pm which wasn't the best due to a Monday and Siesta time. Our hotel recommended here and it's the best food we have had this trip! We are vegetarians and they had plenty to choose from. What a great way to visit a new city. You have to try this place, you will be glad you did. Located on the north side of cathedral Alcazar.

After visiting the Cathedral de Seville we stopped to have lunch at Don Juan de Alemanes. The restaurant is located right outside the exit of the cathedral. This place has a great selection of Tapas including some unique looking plates (Unique to me at least) that were more fancier than the Tapas I've had at that point during my trip to Spain. Service was just ok but we really enjoyed the food. #tapaseveryday

Service is good. Meat and oliva are good, but seafood paella is so so. Location is just next to cathedral.

    Paella without any seafood :(

We went out from the Cathedral, and I checked out Yelp for restaurant and found this one. VERY disappointed! Every single dish are extremely salty. Too salty as if bitter. And for the first time I had seafood paella without ANY seafood. Price is higher compared to the other restaurants we went to. And CHECK your bills carefully against the menu. They charged more than what is stated on the menu. I would recommend go to Calle San Fernando for food.

The BEST dessert I've ever had!

Great tapas here! We tried a little bit of everything: fried Thai chicken, fettuccini, paella! The server however... Was inattentive and I almost thought he was ignoring us. We had a chocolate dessert here that was SO good. We came back 2 more times before we left because the quality of the tapas was that good. The last night we were in Spain we had dinner there and had the most delicious toffee(?) Cake/pudding - it was the best dessert I've had in a while. Can't say the same about the service, however worth putting up with for the food!

in the front is "tres tippy de limo by merengue toastado" in the back is "caramela toffee chocolate y avellana". AMAZING.

The absolute best place in spain that I've been too so far. They have a very nice seating atmosphere, AMAZING food, and such nice waiters, so sweet and accommodating! Our waiter Ricardo has been to the US so he knew a lot of English; he even helped us pick out our desserts which were all heavenly and homemade! I'm only in seville for three days and I'm definitely coming back before I leave. If I could give this place six stars I would.

It's truly a lovely place with cute decorations. We are lucky to find a place with English menu. It's right there after we came out from the cathedral and we are surprised that it's not closed at 17:00.

All delicious. Recommend the mojito flavored cheese cake-ish dessert.

Amazing! Right next to the Cathedral. Good paella. Loved the ensalada Russian (potato/egg salad with caviar on top). Stick with small dishes, decent size portions. We had lunch outside, then went to Cathedral, then returned for dessert, which are the best selection I've seen in Spain. Highly recommend.

Just poor service. Rude for no real reason. I don't care good or mediocre the food is if the service is rude.

We ordered their roasted lamb with cous cous, garlic shrimp croquetta (that was the croquetta of the day), pork cheek stew with potato purée and the chocolate panna cotta for dessert. We also ordered their sangria and tinto de verano. Every dish we ordered was AMAZING - tasty flavorful well seasoned melt in your mouth meat bursting with flavors. We devoured every bite and it was hard to pick a favorite. Both the lamb and pork dishes were 11/10. Not just the taste but the presentation of every tapa was fantastic. Their drinks were also great. The dessert was to die for. This place is super packed during peak dinner hours and there is barely any room to stand. Since we walked in around 11pm, we got a seat and were well taken care of all thru the night. Also noticed alot of veggie options on the menu which was great. Service was awesome ambience is chic. I am certain I am going to crave their tapas once I am back home. Highly highly recommend this place when in Seville.

Where do I begin? Let's talk about the ambience. To call this place rustic would probably capture…read moreit best, it's really probably more like a cafeteria or a school room at a very old school. Tables perhaps a bit close together, not terribly comfortable. Loud, busy. As far as the service, it was our impression that our waiter was the only person serving the 30 or so tables in their dining room. Suffice it to say the service was not fast and not good. Inexplicably, every time we ordered a Coke we were asked if we wanted a Coke Zero. If I wanted a Coke Zero I would have said the words Coke Zero. Even when I asked for another Coke, he again asked "Coke Zero?" It took next to forever to get the check, and forever to get a cappuccino. At one point I took it upon myself to point the waiter to a table behind us that had been desperately attempting to get his attention. This was all not good. As to the food. First, our fault for not knowing what tataki meant. We did not expect to receive salmon that was seared on the outside and raw on the inside. So that one is on us, although we also think the meal came tepid at best. The lamb on couscous was dry and tough. The pork cheek stew was actually pretty good if a bit gluey. The calamari was good. The sushi as they called it was average. What they called the tiramisu was more like a pudding with some liqueur and chocolate on the top, and a little bit of breadish stuff in the bottom. Not my idea of tiramisu, and probably not yours either. So we could not get too excited about these various dishes. But what was particularly frustrating and bizarre was that two people sitting across from us ordered food that looked absolutely delicious. So we got to sit there wondering why we didn't order what they ordered. They ordered a large beef dish with potatoes which is on the menu, and we think they ordered a large octopus meal although we are not sure. Everything they had looked better than anything we had. So it may be that we somehow just picked the wrong items. So it was a strangely frustrating meal. This place has good reviews and we expected good tasting food. Unfortunately it did not work out that way, and the ambience and service were negative contributing factors. I can't entirely write this place off, only because the food other diners received actually looked very good. But I don't think I would go there again.

The layout can be a bit confusing, as the restaurant seems to have three dining rooms with separate entrances but only one kitchen. Where we sat was charming, with stone walls and wood-beamed ceilings. We started with the foie appetizer, which was a delightful surprise for my palate. It was a unique combination of foie, cream cheese, and what I believe was pear. It was unusual, but I ended up really enjoying it. The zucchini noodles with pesto and burrata were also very enjoyable. However, the star of our dinner was the 40 day dry aged ribeye, cooked perfectly medium-rare, tender, and absolutely delicious. If we had discovered it sooner, I would have happily eaten here a second time.

And my grandpa was a cattle rancher so I've had quite a bit of steak in my life. 9.5/10 The pumpkin dish was also exceptional. 9/10 The risotto was the perfect compliment. Wow. Great texture and flavor. 9/10 The croquettes were good, I didn't like the mayo on top. 8/10 The dessert that was essentially a bread pudding was absolutely delicious.i barely tried the orange dessert but it tasted like a Pillsbury orange cinnamon roll. Dessert and service were 10/10
