Bar Paradise was the perfect little gelato stop while exploring Positano…read more The gelato was creamy, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you're walking around the Amalfi Coast and need something sweet and refreshing. The location makes it even better. You're right near Spiaggia Grande in the heart of Positano, so it's easy to grab a gelato and either keep exploring or sit outside for a while and take in all the activity around you. It's casual, convenient, and has that easy beach-town atmosphere where you can stop in without making a whole production out of it. Good gelato in Positano with a great location. Sometimes that's really all you need.

The bartenders were extremely friendly and inviting, and always willing to play along with our antics (after a few Guinness of course). During one of our visits, we were lucky enough to catch a spot at the bar before a World Cup game, and the place got packed quickly. We met some amazing people (from Ireland no less), and loved the energy everyone brought. This is a fantastic pub with seating inside and out, and great service. We ended up going back every night, and were honestly bummed to leave it behind. If you're in Sorrento and looking for a laid back but fun spot to have a few cocktails and some fun, The Horse Shoe is IT! Great people and energy on both sides of the bar!

I miscounted my winnings and asked the cashier and I was yelled at. I apologized profusely but he wouldn't serve me the rest of the night or even look at me.
