Shodan showed up and got everything dialed in right on time for our event. Our son and his longtime pal invited their friends and family who tried a wide range of tasty treats and there was plenty of time spent gathered around the goodness. Only advice I'd give is to make sure you order more crostinis. I saw plenty of quick word of mouth drive traffic right to them and everyone loved the unique flavors that the filet with smashed avocado, honey goat cheese topped with roasted tomatoes and pesto drizzle, and caprese delivered. The grazing table is something I'll daydream of often now that I've seen and gotten to taste so many amazing things from it. I can't recommend Ooey Gooey enough and can't wait to line up our next event with them.

You got your white tablecloths, rooms full of retirees, and a vibe that hasn't changed much since the Reagan administration. Unfortunately, there was none of that live music that this place is known for. My family and I came for the Easter brunch buffet @ $55/person. The menu looked great: herb crusted prime rib at the carving station, shrimp and grits, Belgian waffles, deviled eggs, bourbon glazed carrots, cheesecake dessert squares. But the reality was that it's more like an upscale hotel breakfast. Safe, mostly bland, and probably exactly what the "usual" crowd there was looking for. The bacon was overcooked and shriveled. The deviled eggs didn't even have any paprika. And who puts a giant vat of syrup BEFORE the waffles? And their signature strawberry punch would've tasted way better chilled or iced instead of being kept at room temperature. The prime rib was what made it all worth it. It was tender, juicy, cooked just right, and the horseradish took care of their seasoning problem. That carving station is what saves the day along with the fantastic staff. Even the manager was great to talk to. I just wish the rest of the food was better than "meh." A couple of tips: call for reservations, there's no online booking. Parking is annoying because of the app. If you don't have a walker, just use the giant free public lot one block over on Main Street. Also, the "Order" button on their website goes nowhere. Maybe just replace it with "Menu," Luna. Looks like Mother's Day is getting the breakfast buffet brunch encore, so if you want to experience what I did, go for it. I probably won't be back even though the regular menu looks interesting.

It seemed more like a country club or due to the fact that mostly everyone there was older than us and were in our late 50s. It seemed more like it was even an assisted living facility. The service was mediocre. it's not that they were slow, but they were in no hurry yet when we got there they got made it seem like we got lucky that somebody canceled and that we needed to hurry and get in and place our order because they had a long list of reservation reservations. The doorman I think it actually should brush up or be shown how to approach or work with patrons. We heard some patrons complaining about the timing of food delivery and one table left after a round of cocktails. We aren't sure why they chose to leave but they did. We felt their pricing for the amount of food and offering was a bit steep and not so much in line with others especially since they didn't add any extra flair of roses for the ladies, little to none romantic ambiance and definitely no music which would have been a nice touch. We will try them again when hopefully they will have seating in the jazz bar area and we will call further in advance to plan for the visit so maybe I can update the review and let you know if a 3rd visit is in the future. We don't live close so the second visit will kind of need to be a wow to gain the 3rd one as I feel I'm am fair and my expectations aren't set super high but I definitely feel they dropped the ball for me based on this visit.

Kimberly listened to everything we said we wanted for our wedding and provided excellent suggestions for things we had never considered but perfectly complimented our vision.
